Sorry dude The Fortnite chapter 1 island is not back.First those islands are random placeholder islands away from the chp 2 map. You can tell this because Loot lake is not next to Tilted towers and retail row is right next to it. if you turn of your internet while in the battle bus at the edge, it will keep going off the island and to the other background model islands. The Fortnite chapter 1 we know and love was destroyed by the visitors when they blow up the nexus a black hole destroys things and does not teleport people. The new island we have now is in a parallel universe you can watch theories that make scene on this channel.

I had a glitch once in chapter 1 season 7 and I was on the battle bus and my WiFi went out and it wouldn’t let me jump out and I went for like 3 minutes over islands and I went over that same lit up map that has been there for a long time if you looked at the islands super far out when you were on the chapter one island you could see the same map and it had tilted lit up so it has been there since they made fortnite.
What if we have to go through the butterfly rift but it brings us to chapter one accidentally

I don't think that the swimming part in the concert is a new thing
As you can see it only let's you go left-right-front-back
Wich is the same mechanics for any river you swim in when you're in a normal game
But if it was a new mechanic it would've let us move around more like up-down
I know you can do that in rivers by jumping but that's just on the surface not deep underwater since we couldn't go that far down in the normal river or lake

Here's a theory, the butterfly realm is actually the server that runs the training simulation and the butterfly is the anti-virus software to keep things out of the code, this is why it always teleports us back when we see/ touch it
