Hi Tea, Just thought I'd let you know I am still watching all your videos and I am really happy that you have a Pfaff like mine now! It's a really lovely machine and a real quilting workhorse as well as embroidery. (I have 4 embroidery machines including multi needle but love the Pfaff the best). I'm surprised you have a problem with the bobbin thread not cutting on thread changes. It is actually better if you don't cut it as a double insurance against unravelling in the future. I have never had any problems with mine over the years. Most of the more recently digitised designs are done to avoid jump stitches between colour changes so it's possible you were using an older design perhaps? I have also found that this machine handles invisible thread better than all the others if that helps. I have never slowed my machine down except when doing very dense, intricate work or putting bindings on or joining quilt blocks in the hoop. Then it's usually because I need better control of the pieces. I hope you have as much fun as I do with this machine - the quilt settings for piecing are just brilliant.
