This performance for me is really mind boggling. I really don't think there is anyone on the planet that is capable of singing this song the way Morissette does, especially live. The emotion, the clarity, the breath control to be able to sing such long phrases with that much power. Then of course the classic Mori growls, squeaks, and voice breaks.......at this point I don't think Morissette is from this planet.
Her Ang Huling El Bimbo live on stage with band at 2023 fan fest is a must. One of the great live vocals that I have ever heard
No one is prepared for Mori's take on this song, on this stage. She prepared for this, word on the street, 2 full rehearsals.

Hello. Thanks for another reaction to Morissette performing "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw". This one's with the 3rd Avenue Band, with the musical director Adonis Tabanda on the bass guitar. It was shot at Studio 28 Lounge in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines. If I'm not mistaken, they only did two shoots for this (one is for safety), that's the usual practice, as confided by the drummer Lawrence Nolan. So, there must be multiple cameras in place all rolling at the same time, one of them was held by Dave Lamar infront of Mori. So what we watched was "as live as can be". On this same location, but on another day, Mori and the 3rd Avenue band also did the "Bruno Mars Evolution Medley". You gotta check it out.
Jacob, Need to check out her recent live performance at the Fusion 2023 festival singing "Ang Huling El Bimbo" commanding an enormous crowd. She is on fire doing what she does best.
Great reaction as always Jacob. 3rd Avenue is Mori's regular band. Adonis Tabanda is the musical director (bassist) and her husband Dave Lamar does all of her cinematography and audio recording. They are an amazing team. I can't remember Jacob if you've reacted to Mori's "Bruno Mars Medley" yet (in this same venue) also with 3rd Avenue. It is ABSOLUTELY KILLER! The arrangement and transitions between each song is off the charts and 3rd Avenue CRUSHES it. You'll LOVE it!

Dave and Max have been using multiple cameras for each of these live Morrisette videos over the last several years. They do two performance takes and choose the best. The editing is the video. That is done by Dave and people who work for Max. Dave does the mixing.
Adonis, her long time music director, arranges the music. Recognizing some of the musicians from other videos, I assume most are from 3rd Avenue. I know the drummer plays for her a lot, even on her old Stages (Coffee Bean) videos from 8 years ago. I think Adonis has worked with Morrisette for 9 years.

To be smart and efficient, one song take with multiple camera pointing at different directions and one that’s moving.
Take any snippets you like from camera x, or y, or z, but so long as they’re chronological, you get your one take.

This is the only version I listen to, the others are great but this is from start to finish full of emotion, the audio as far as I know was ONE TAKE, her husband Dave Lamar did all the camera work, while the other cameras were on tripods, I think four one on the drums and one on the keyboard then two each side of Mori, Dave had the steady camera going, there is a video showing the rehearsal and the setting up, sorry don't have the link, it will be somewhere in Mori's or Dave's CZcams channel, now it's almost always the same band 3rd Avenue which is almost orchestra size, this is where Adonis Tabanda comes in as musical director he has the choice of those involved in the videos, he is there on bass guitar in near to every video and live performance, of course Mori does use other bands when it's good for the song, Dave Lamar is a singer songwriter, producer editor photographer, video production was a hobby but he has become very good in his hobby, he produced the video COULD YOU BE MESSIAH and near to every new video Mori performs in, the new live performances of IMAGINE MORE, COLOUR EVERYWHERE and WATERWALK plus the Tagalog song and the up and coming song POWER on the December 1st are from Dave with the steady camera you see him sometimes when he comes into shot, no wonder Mori has a smile on her face, they are a power couple, the session with the above songs is just like a jam session easy on the eye and fantastic on the ear, enjoy.😊
No, that is not how they recorded this. I hate when reactors esp musicians who don't take their job seriously, who don't do their research. There are vids, yt vids, from the very musicians who are in this performance detailing the process. This is live. You can even hear the "schrrr" sound on the microphone when she releases or loosens her grip on it.
