I came across this reaction video because I was in the mood to look up NTRL (netral) again.
I'm British (but living in the Middle East for the past 10 years) and discovered these guys by accident. There was a random viral video of a kid drumming along to one of their songs and I ended up looking it up and then discovered their other stuff. I think they are so underrated. They have elements of mid-00s Blink, sort of similar drumming and guitar riffs at times but they are definitely better than Blink in my opinion. Plus as you say, they are quite diverse with other songs which are more straight up punk (I'm going to check out your Sakit Jiwa reaction now..) and stuff with more "dance" like qualities. Indonesia music in general is highly overlooked and Netral have become a personal favourite for me, although actual "punks" there I've spoken to don't necessarily include them as a punk band because they're "too big", I guess.

@@millerhxc yes that is right. I suggest you to listen the whole song in album "Album Untuk Minggu Ini'. My recommended tracks are : Kau, Selamat Datang, Plus Tambah, Sibuk. Actually the whole album is all good tracks. Happy listening
they are all start back in 1994 with first album, pelangi, walah, desaku, that time was bimo on the drum and the guitarist was anotherman from their high school mate...NETRAL IS LEGEND IN INDONESIA, THEY ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT and they survive until now,..RESPECT NTRL

Lintang is the name of one of the main characters in the popular novel in Indonesia ; "Laskar Pelangi"

Netral guitarist name is Coki, Coki is Deadsquad guitarist too. Fyi, Deadsquad have 2 guitarist, Coki and Stevi. Both of em is have main pop/rock band project. Coki from "Netral" and Stevi from "Andra & The Backbone". Their main band is for making money from tv and others media, while deadsquad is pure their passion.

Funniest thing is this heavy song is supposedly a children's song, as it integrates the soundtrack of 2008 box office hit Laskar Pelangi. Lintang is the dark-skinned boy you can see in the videoclip. The book trilogy, the movie and soundtrack were huge in Indonesia those times.

In their early years they more like an average alternative rock band, after their first guitarist and drummer left and replace with Eno (the drummer) they become a bit punk-ish , Eno is kinda like Indonesian Travis Barker.
You might wanna check out their frontman side project "The Black Teeth", or the guitarist solo project "Sunyotok" (if i'm not mistaken)
This is the Rooftop same with Saint Loco E.A.R project. HOTEL and the Flag same too.
