Most SEALS, especially DEVGRU, use a suppressed HK 416, not a DD MK18 but it depends on the operator and equipment availability, DEVGRU gets the best gear and can use pretty much any weapon they want where Normal Seals have less of a weapon Variety to choose from.

Ive heard one seal or maybe it was a ranger say they like to keep their MK18 un suppressed because the blast is projecting out front away from the shooter and is extremely disorienting and unsettling in CQB for anybody in front of your muzzle. Like a flash bang. Probably getting shot sucks too.
i noticed that the linear compensator ejects a giant fire ball when shooting which obviously gives away your position at night so you might wanna put a suppressor or just leave it with the flash hider
