I prefer the old style of stadiums. Surely there can be a balance of a big new stadium with the old magic. Wembley is such a terrible stadium for football. The shape of it is awful and terrible for atmosphere.

I used to do a delivery job and although I've never been for a game I went past Man City's ground a few times and was always in awe of it, right bit of kit and what I can only describe as a "the training stadium" over the road was pretty special as well

Ask most footballers or managers they pick Anfield on most occasions, fans of other clubs just vent their jealousy’s. Even Gary Neville admits Anfield is the toughest
Most United players say Elland Road. Neville just needs to be liked by all so he tries to please Liverpool fans. Tough stadium for United players to go though still but for normal teams, without any sort of rivalry it’s nothing special. I’ve been a few times to watch United and been disappointed with the atmosphere once the game started. Before, with the backing track it’s pretty loud.
And then Toulouse turned up at Anfield and outsing your own fans for 95mn and lost the game
