Very good subtitled in German. Im a big Fan of the Heli Safe System but seen it on these many Catches it also makes me thinking of that many Leads dropped off in this Lake.... I prefer Stoneleads for this Type of Fishing.

Leather carp are more common in mainland Europe and hence are wrongly identified by us Brits as Mirrors. Quite a few of the carp in this video and many other vids are Leathers. Leather carp can have scales at the dorsal line and the wrist of the tail, they are not often totally devoid of scales, there is a difference in the anal fin too, it's difficult in the heat of the moment to identify Leathers correctly, but an absence of scales over the flanks is a big question mark.There are many articles on line here is one. www.farnhamanglingsociety.com/species/carp-leather-mirror.php

Really loved watching it. But a question to the team: how can you spot carp on a windy day? With waves on the water there isn't much chance to see bubbles of any sort. Apart from jumping fish, there aren't many clues I think. What do you guys look for then?

Do glass leads even exist surely they would break really easily
At least if a glass weigh breaks is not going to "poison" the lake. I have used inline leads for years, recently turned to leadclip, prefer inline to be honest. Love using 35g feder rods and 8lb line fishing for 20s aha.
When you mix the bumble berry and wonder berry into the boilies, are the ESSENTIAL IB too ?

Question, could you use Danny's Boom pop up rig with a ''standard'' lead clip system instead of what he is using here?
Thought the same myself. Don't see why not if you're on a hard clean bottom.? Sounds daft but tie it up at home attach to a clip,drop it in the sink and see what it looks like?

Do anybody know if i fish a naked shod rig can i fish it with tight line,when the rod is on the rodpot
Only at distance, the section the chod is sitting on needs to be lying flat to whatever the bottom is. With a tight line this will only happen at decent range (50yds plus) and depends on depth rod setup, depth etc.

great video. massive fan of the naked chod but never really thought of it as a distance rig as ive always used it 30yrds max ultra slack. can you fish it on a tight line at range without the bait lifting off bottom?
Garry Wright when you're fishing at great distance it's pretty much impossible to get a straight line from your rod to your lead. you will have to use 5kg leads in order to do so. There will always be a bit of slack in your line. Fishing at great distances is no problem with the chod/heli system. :)
