Join me on a journey over the cobbled farm tracks of Northern France as I ride with 5,000 others in the Paris-Roubaix Challenge Sportive, 6 April 2024.
Distance 145km and 19 cobbled sectors totalling 30km

Great stuff! (Witty title too.) You were so often using the gutter to overtake riders on the crown of the pave. Did your tyres puncture and re-seal, or just not puncture at all? You were riding at confident pace through all sorts of hazards - all that hard London commuter cycling really coming good.

Thanks. I don't think the tyres punctured at all, no sign of sealant. I've used that particular pair of tyres in a few gravel events and I'm pretty confident in them - Schwalbe G-One RS. As for the commuting, I think the Brompton would complain on this course.

Yes, it was. If I'd had a few cobble sectors already under my wheels I'd have been more confident of passing it but at that point I was being cautious.
