Quick question .. does it matter what weapon speed you use as assa rogue? Or do you still wanna go for the 'slow' MH and faster OH?
I'm trying to figure out weather combat or assassination is better for dps in pve
Regarding Combat's rotation; once maintaining SnD - you want to Revealing Strike for CPs 1-3 so as to avoid wasted CPs from the Glyph of Sinister Strike

For both specs Instant is on the slow weapon in the main hand, Deadly is on the fast weapon in the off hand and Instant can go on the thrown if you're doing AOE damage with it and any other poison can go on thrown if you're using it to apply a utility poison. *Assassination want their slow 1.8 speed daggers in their main hand now because backstab only damages with the main hand.*
Talk a little about that execute thing with assasination. Sounds interresting?
many Rogue used the hybrid on Secondary Talents. which made it possible to earn some raw gold in TBC dungen. but now Fan of Knives uses Thrown. and lifeward is not a triger now. I'm already watching the fifth guide to rogue in cataclysm, but for some reason no one is talking about it. does anyone know how to get around this? Recuperate+Deadly Momentum maybe give a little HP regen, though I do not know if it will work on monsters of LVL 70. The energy problem was solved Use 2 pieces of Terrorblade set + use deadly poison to throw
Combat no longer uses Rupture in their rotation? Or did I miss that part
You're correct combat no longer uses rupture, only eviscerate.
You can use rupture during yellow/green bandits guile, if you know it will tick during red. Otherwise, spam eviscerate.
You can also glyph gouge, and then use it as a 15 energy CP. But this will lead you to capping energy more often, and isn’t as much damage as SS. But if you’re at 4CP and used RVS early, it’s very nice to just gouge the 5th point.
I'd recommend including sub too in your guides, it's actually really viable in cata, not an easy spec with all the crap you have to tract, but it is super fun and feels good!
Why did you add expertise into stat prio? Youre aware expertise is removed in cata right? Also you wont need 17% hit since shadow priest and boonkin bring 3% spell hit so you will be fine with 14%. Probably better to reforge extra hit into mastery

clueless, expertise are not removed in cata, also the hit debuff that shadowpriest and boomy did bring in wotlk, are no longer in cata
