I think Jen Hale did a pretty good job, but it's clear Helena Taylor has classical stage training. You can tell with the way she projects her voice on the summons. It's maybe one of the hardest things to get right in voice acting, the loud yelling while still sounding articulate and... confident? That's maybe not the best word for it, but I'm struggling to find the right way to describe it. I think it's really as simple as I think Jen has only done talking in a sound booth, while Helena has pretty much only done stage work.
Really love the mod. I think Rosa has a witch time/bat within line that is just "Unimpressive" that I think may be better to replace one of the witch time lines already used in one of the taunts

I feel like they should talk it out with hellena and solve the whole issue. Franchise will be all the better for it and jennifer hale actively avoids stating that she voices bayonetta in 3 in all her signings so that whole controversy probably turned her off of the whole thing.

Like it's just so high pitched, stretchy, it's the complete opposite of what Bayo usually sounds like. Thank you for this really. It's 100x better hearing their original voice. It's just irreplaceable for me no matter what.
It also doesn't help that the clowns on the sound design team fucked up their jobs and made **every** action cue inconsistent with each grunt. Even when dodging, bayonetta will shout "EGH!!" as if it's the hardest thing in the world to do, and don't get me started on how often her **"AAAEGGHH"** plays in the middle of nearly every. fucking. combo string.
This would have made everything about this game(at least gameplay wise) even more epic. Man I Miss hellena:( Jennifer did an REALLY amazing job but Helena has this something special😊
The funny thing is that we could’ve had Bayo1 and Bayo2 versions with Hellena voice in Bayo3 if she accepted the last offer of the infamous meme 4000 US dollars. Too bad she lied, burying her place in the Bayo VA cast with her own hands
In all honesty Jennifer did a good job voicing Bayonetta yes I wish Helena Taylor still voiced Bayonetta. Surely that’s not the only reason why you don’t like the game
@@macannahsmith157 I think it’s preference her voice really didn’t fit and made so sound so much younger which for me made me dislike her acting a lot. Her accent isn’t always the greatest either imo but she was ok. I’m sure they could have found an actual British voice actor and it would have been better though

I actually didnt mind that much that Taylor left, but what really made me mad is how they changed some of the summons. Like, there already are chants to summon Madama Butterfly, Malphas etc., why would they change them?
@@nee181 I understand a little bit that reason, but not completely, and I will never forgive them for giving Jeanne the same chants as Bayo, the one of the things I always loved about Jeanne was the difference between her magical abilities and the ones of bayo, they are equally powerful but with different trainings in magic that enhances different aspects of their combat styles :C

These voice lines could have been added to go off when fighting with Bayo 1 or Bayo 2 skins by platinum games but nevertheless to get them in the game like this is just amazing. You should get hired to work on Bayo 4 and give the fans what they want
