Yes, the voice box lady is annoying. Extremely annoying. She kept talking when I was watching the video to shut her up. The only woman I would tell to shut up.

After telling them about the problem, it did it again in front of them. What embarrassing situation at 10pm. I spent 2 hours trying to find something online using my tablet. The other videos on here were either confusing, more annoying than helpful or started the "tutorial" from an already unlocked screen. Extra thanks for showing me how to deactivate it for good. The other video I watched showed how to get out of it without being in it, which helped nobody cause the reason we are looking it up is because we are in that mode in the first place. You all know how frustrating it is when TalkBack gets turned on. I was ready to toss my tablet in the trash after stomping it to death. I looked at lots of webpages and youtube videos. None helped.
Lady in Red.. it did not go exactly as she described, I'm on Android 11. But she gave me the tools I needed and within a couple of minutes the dreaded curse was gone. The two finger swipe was a big help, nothing would happen without that.
If you're stuck I'm TalkBack, try pushing up and down volume keys together.

Yeah I activated this last night, took an hour to sort it out, frustrating isn't the half of it.
Whilst trying to navigate, my device even phoned the emergency services .
Any disabled phone user should have this activated only on request when purchasing a new device.
I have now altered my settings about the volume key, thank you.

My wife kept accidently active the talk back nonsense. This about the 3rd time in as many weeks I had waste time on this. I noticed this time there was a permission given (can't recall which one it was) and when she opened whatever app it triggered the Talk Back feature. If the setting gear isn't on the first screen, good luck trying to access it. Thing is, is that the androids ship with it installed even though maybe less than 0.01% of the consumers actually need it. It will pretty much lock you off your phone if you're not familiar to what might be happening in the first place. The app should only be available in the Play Store. IMHO
