Emile Claus (1849-1924) was a Belgian Painter. He is known as the foremost Belgian Impressionist painter in addition to being that country’s best-known painter of landscapes. Under the influence of Claude Monet, he developed a style that has been characterized as luminism. In 1904, he started the artist group Vie et Lumière ('Life and Light'). I hope you enjoy the video!
