Although I have developed a terrible allergy to epoxy resin, you are tempting me to try it again. Maybe someday outside when it is not raining and the wind is not blowing. 😀 Beautiful pieces!
Aw Thank You, but if you have allergies be very careful ~ wear a respirator and gloves and safety glasses and long sleeves to cover your arms then right after change your clothes and jump in the shower, sorry I know I must sound like a mother hen lol just want you to stay safe
Just an idea can you imagine one with branches and 2 flowers in that dry able clay and you can Mold it onto a vase. How awesome would that look!
That is exactly what those molds are made for Air Dry Clay, been around a long time - I've used it that way hundreds of times when I was decoupaging - It was all the hype back in the 80's and everything I touched was decoupaged with tissue paper, napkins, rice paper, you made your own but not with printers back then , you painted your own design on tissue paper then added a glue water mix to make your own paper. so many things have changed in the craft world over the years but so many have stayed the same 😍

You should use some of those jenga wood blocks you got on a thrift haul a while ago. You could glue them together to make mould supports for your more flimsy ones that need support ❤

Hi Beth,me again lol, I have some of those molds and poured them with resin crete to see what they looked like before using resin and had the same problem of some of them breaking or parts of them breaking but I'll definitely be pouring them with resin now ,they are just too thin for crete ,thanks again and have a good day❤
Hi Shelly, with Mix2Mold I have poured way thinner pieces than this without any issues at all, It was definitely user error in the mold that all cracked - It was stuck to the silicone and I tried to move it and that's when it all cracked - If I hadn't of touched that mold until it fully cured, I have no doubt that every piece would have come out great 😍😍

You need to get out one of those yellow scrapers you say you never use 😂😂 it would be perfect to scrape across the mouse mold and the last mold you pored and many more molds 😊
I've actually tried that before but they get caught on the lip of those molds and dont work any better than the popsicle sticks do and I can just throw away the popsicle sticks

Or surely you have an Amazon box you could cut down to make a frame or if it fits in the box cut down the side to fit the height of the mold that would make for easy moving too.
Yes lol Rose Im sure I will figure something out but I couldnt spend an hour on the video trying to find something, but I don't think anyone realizes just how super thin that mold is, even in a box its going to collapse unless I had something sturdy like a tight fitted wood frame right up next to the actual mice

Beth is there anything you can treat a matte mold with to actually make it shiny?
Yes, I could put a fine layer of silicone rubber on it the make it shiny but as thin as those molds are I would loose too much detail
Hi Beth, I just love how creatively you are with your pieces. They come out of the mold one way, but by the time you finish all of your touch ups. They look like a completely different piece. Now Beth, you have to be more patient. I saw you throwing the broken pieces in the trash, at least that’s what it looked like. Couldn’t you have instead saved those broken pieces to put into other molds, making like terrazzo? Even tho they were not colored, couldn’t you add them to some colored Mix2Mold? Just a thought. Also about the Mouse mold. I know you said your Skully mold comes apart. Could you possibly be able to use the top or bottom of it for the mouse mold?
Question? I bought the medium size snail mold from Temu, but it looks very small. Can you please tell me what the size of yours? Watching your video and didnt you make those acrylic strips that makes different sizes of support for molds?
I have the mold for those but no I haven't poured them and they would have been too tall for the mice mold
?? Hi Beth, I do have a question… I am a bit confused about the mix2mold ratio of powder and water. I just purchased a container of it and it seems like the water they recommend for a certain amount is not enough. Like it doesn’t give you the correct consistency. I know you said it should be a buttermilk consistency. But if you go by the directions to use the recommended amount of water, it is way too runny. Can you help me to understand this?? Thank in advance!😊
I think those molds are all a matte finish because they're for candy and cake decorating.. or clay.. Maybe..

I have something sort of like what I am talking about at my office. When I can I will take a picture and share it with you. It is a man figurine sitting with an open head that I put an air fern in that I got online. It’s really cute.
