- On October 7th, 1995 the Miami Hurricanes led by linebacker Ray Lewis traveled to Tallahassee to take on a fantastic top-ranked Seminoles squad. The FSU offense was led by quarterback Danny Kannell, who had talented weapons all over the field at his disposal. None were more talented than running back Warrick Dunn. Dunn's 1995 season included him rushing for 1,242 yards (3rd All-Time FSU) and 13 touchdowns. His finest game of that season was during this contest. He lit up rival Miami for 184 yards on 20 carries, and a 1-yard touchdown in a 41-17 route. SUBSCRIBE: bit.ly/Oqg3iE

More 90’s FSU games please‼️Preferably Peter Warrick era
These fsu vs UM games
Were alll the greatest college football ever played !! I remember them as far back as 88
From 95 -99 no recruits and sanctions 🤷🏾♂️ they were suppose to win
I go back to the 1980 to present it’s been a great ride. GO NOLES
@@gearmonkey5904 one of my favorite days of the year
UM vs FSU
I always check this date first .
@@orangejuice1144 Yet Butch Davis found a way to win without cheating. One of the few Miami coaches worthy of respect.
The amount of late hits and helmet to helmet was incredible.
I love that the ACC DN is reviving old content, immortalizing it on the internet! I'm building up a nice playlist of all these classics, it's a lot of fun to take a trip down memory lane sometimes.. love it!
As Auburn fan I still love it
As someone who had been watching fsu for about a decade at the point of this game. It was first time i knew miami couldn't beat. And had zero chance of doing so. 97 was the same way. And the only 2 times in my life i knew victory was a certain. Only noles fans back then. Know what a big deal it was to feel that way. After basically a decade of heartbreak. And at best only hoping we could win. They were literally the evil empire! And a much bigger rival then florida too me. Because Florida hadn't cost us a few nattys
Great game Full of NFL future pros . Gosh I miss these years of college football and basketball ,it was so much competitive back then and they weren't getting these NIL deals that these current players are getting today . Can you imagine the money that Chris Webber,Warren Sapp,Warrick Dunn,Charlie Ward,Jalan Rose,Rocket Ishmael,Desmond Howard,Tyrone Wheatley,Rashaan Salaam ,Gino Torretta,Derrick Brooks,Rasheed Wallace etc coulda made while they were in college . Like the flick the Program brought out, that these schools make 5 to 10 million back then ! just for goin to a Bowl game or the NCAA tournament ..
All those names you mentioned should get a check, because these big time programs are still living off of their legacy and making even more profits from them now.
Can we go back to these old school unis again? I love them 💗 💓 ♥️ 💕 so much better! GO NOLES
AGREED!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 Those uniforms are like immortal.
dude i still got my #28 in the closet.
One of the best rb’s fsu ever had!!
Warrick Dunn! Woohoo 🎉
THE best. i love Dalvin but 28 will always be GOAT.
Damn...nothing like the old FSU- Miami rivalry. The intensity of those games and the talent that was on the field was unbelievable.
Love seeing Roc Preston again, he was the truth. Yall don't know about that.
This was their hey day
The football players back then were much bigger than today's football players. Interesting!
I think the padding was much bigger then, giving the illusion of the players being bigger. But I definitely like the 90s look better than today's sausage casing jerseys and nearly no padding.
Pooh bear Williams lmao
im perplexed that the marching chiefs played the warchant all the way until the ball was snapped on both sides. thank god that cant fly anymore. that being said GO NOLES!!!
Randy moss on the sideline. Imagine him and warrick? Damn at least 2 more titles.
Great year for sports
I was in the fifth grade during this era, these games were bigger than the NFL.
Man that defensive line was STACKED.
Both were! Ray Lewis, Andre Wadsworth, these games were insane.
Warwick Dunn is the greatest runningback of his area.
Era*
@@vertsk8er419 Well, area wasn't wrong either. I'm sure he was the best in Tallahassee.
This game was the end of the loud, obnoxious, in-your-face Miami. They came back a few years later of course, but those teams did all their talking on the field.
Rip pooh bear
It's wrong for me to say it, but I kind of miss full-contact, concussion football
They cut out a nice 2-min drill, scoring drive at the end of the half.. the score was 17-7, the noles are driving with 1m45s and the vid just fades into the kickoff of the second half, with noles up 24-7.. that's... curious.
Wasn’t sapp and majority of the Miami defense in the nfl 🤷🏾♂️
Yea the team that lost to Nebraska in the national championship
@@packersauburneric3625 Just like majority of that Nebraska team went to the nfl but was trash. Miami had no debt at linebacker, defensive line, and the quarterback and receivers were trash. Nebraska team was loaded and still almost lost to our team that didn’t have a decent quarterback🤷🏾♂️
Dunn gator killer go noles
That bullshit call
Before thad Busby
Damn this Miami team was garbage.
Go Noles!!!
