This is such a great MUA tip! I have cream eyeshadow sticks in all the basic colors. I blend them through the crease, then apply my multi chrome eyeshadow on the lid over top. It works wonders, it’s so simple and so effective! You do a great job demystifying makeup application. You make it less intimidating for the beginner. 😊

I love using white eyeliner as a base, I use a very similar one or the same. (ColourPop gel pencil) Lets me get really pretty colors, including being able to use purple eyeshadow without looking like my eyes are bruised. I also tried it today to do a graphic look, a big purple wing 😁 being able to control it precisely is very nice
My favorites were the same color base, the white base and especially the black base. This reminded me of how I used to use all kinds of bases. Thank you for this video

I love that with just the base you can create different looks with one eye shadow, So what ever look you're going for you know which base to use, I think that shadow looks good with all bases even the natural lid 😊❤

WOW!!! I have never thought about how using different methods to prepare my lids would make!! This video was incredibly helpful! I am going to change my own method effectively tomorrow morning. You are a wonderful teacher, and have helped me feel more confident wearing make up as an "older" gal. 😊
I have a tendancy to put powder over concealer and wondered why my eyeshaodws didn't pop. Now I know and I'm going to experiment. I do have 69 year old eyelids so we'll see! I do have th Urban Decay primer (I think). I have to work with that for shimmer shadows. I love the smokey eye with the black underneath Wow! Great for evening/dramatic look. Thank you Smitha!

I love the intensity of the shadow on a white and on a black base. I think I will be using a black base when I want my shimmers and duochrome shadows to really POP .

I use REM black in the fall and winter. REM white in spring in summer. I have very oily lids and her color concealers are the best in me. NYX jumbo pencils are great and much cheaper but not with oily lids

Hi Smitha, my favorite is with the white base. I just ordered two white eye pencils from Amazon, it's 1:45 am☺☺. I have a question, I have long nails so it's a bit hard to apply the shadow with my fingers, I don't get proper coverage, what should I do. As always, thanks for a very detailed & informative video❤
I just🤘😝🤘 loved how much the color of the eyeshadow intensified after using a black⚫ base underneath... After the black base which is my first choice as a base I also liked the white base which is my second choice... Bt also the same color base is also pretty good.... 🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂
