    The Intex sand filter pump in salt water system shown in the video is the Intex, ECO 20110-1 been replaced by ECO 20110-2 part numbers are going to be 28679EG been replaced the by the 26679EG the features on the Intex, 26679 e.g. the pump has a self cleaning feature the salt water system so we can set the pump timer and set the salt water timer so you have a pump running in the salt water to turn off. Has the pump running then the pump will turn off. If you put the pump timer on lower than salt water timer, it’s gonna automatically change it will not work. The one that shown in the video the pump needs to run with the salt water system so we need to change the FP’s that means filter pump the salt water system cannot be ran so that means if the pump timers on the saltwater system will turn off, so there’s no supper timer for the salt water system as well. The newer features on the newer one and I know everything about those pumps and also have a CZcams channel feel free. Also check it out is the best way channel. I have some pool videos how to update some pool videos to. And feel free to comment below my CZcams channel.😊

    In the video are you saying 1-1.5" threaded connectors with 1.5-2" being listed in the supplies list? Im a goof and bought all 2 inch stuff where applicable because I got that stuck in my head. this is the best video, I will I would have found it before I made a few cuts lol.

    • @Amundred

      I believe the threaded connector you are asking about was the 1.5" threaded adapter that adapts to the 2" pipe on the non-threaded side....if that makes sense?

    I am adding the cut in skimmer by Hayward, and I'm thinking about doing away with the old inlet ports and just having the skimmer and the main outlet into the pool. Would that not be enough? No other pool has more than just a skimmer and an outlet into the pool.

    you said you might add a video of skimmer installation.. were you still planning on doing that? And also - did you use hard plumbing just to make it more secure and so all "business" runs to the back of the pool? Loved your video - super helpful :) thank you

    • @Amundred
      @Amundred  Před rokem

      Yes, I am making a video for the skimmer install. To be honest, I think going with a skimmer that attaches to the top bar is probably the way to go - the skimmer has a little leak that I just cannot get to seal completely...probably user error tbh and the install instructions were not great 😂

    • @Amundred
      @Amundred  Před rokem

      I used the hard plumbing so that way it is more durable and it looks a little better aesthetically.
      The flex plastic hose that came with the pump was not long enough to reach where I wanted to place the pump so I needed to either buy long flex hose or use the PVC.
