  • In this video, Amit shares his riding experiences and thoughts on the bikes. Honda CB350 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Reborn.
The Honda CB350 shares a lot of elements with classic which attracts different buyers. CB350 can be a good option for daily city commute, distant tours and a retro looking motorcycle which is fast at the same time.
The 350cc Engine from Honda is an excellent option in the segment with a truly refined engine.
The bikes, Hness 350 and CB350 are light are easily to maneuver. Both are loaded with features.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 Reborn feels more stable on highways. The gear ratios of the Royal Enfield's 350cc Engine is amazingly good. The motorcycle can pull all the way from 40kmph to 120kmph on the 5th gear making it effortless to ride for long hours.
These motorcycles come in a lot of customizable options and accesories to choose from
    Also, wide colour options.
He puts light on various aspects and compares both in terms of practical approach and riding.
Both are placed smartly in the similar price bracket which rises confusion and doubts among the potential buyers.
On-road Price (HONDA CB350 AND HONDA HNESS 350) Guwahati-
Amit hopes that this video might clear some of the doubts and will be happy to answer more on instagram- alongwithamit.

Also the middle and top end is unmatchable in this 350cc category. Took test ride of cb350, felt as a bigger bike and much more refined engine now. Much worthier than RE bikes in all aspects..

Wonderful review, both motorcycles have their pros and cons, you covered them well.
I had a Classic 350 and had ridden it for more than 25,000kms and now I have bought the new Honda CB350, for my liking, I am finding it better in most departments but RE has it’s charm, love them both.
However, high speed handling, stability is where Honda shines more. If you want to travel long journeys, go with Honda eyes closed.

Bhai , I own this bike, one major reason was also because , big wing in my city is in close proximity to my home so yes. , and compared to classic and other similar bikes , i think cb350 is indeed superior in looks ( it is of course somewhat larger also )and the gearing ratios yes they are a bit large like in other cb350's but yes it's low end torque still manages to do it for me ( in my case ).
But to classic its gearing ratios are large , and yes this stuff keeps you engaged with the bike , believe it or not again it is subjective to if you like it or not .
Comfort I think is almost similar but yes the seat might be a bit stiff , and I find it personally very comfortable for short as well as long rides .
Suspension is obviously as you described too good .
Keep doing the good work 🎉

Heating issue is there in Royal Enfield, very uncomfortable with jeans and shoes and impossible to ride without long boot during summer. Engine vibration starts at 80kmph. Base model is pathetic, nothing is provided. And goodbye to your hand in traffic, clutch is super hard. Also rust issue at some metal parts. Honestly at 233000 Honda CB350 is way better than RE Classic/Bullet - Alloy wheels, traction control, slipper assist clutch, nissan brakes, wider back tyre, bigger front brake, no vibrations until 120kmph, butter smooth engine, better mileage, absolutely no engine heat, more comfortable sitting position, all LED light setup, dual abs and tubeless tyre = all this at base model. Overall a better experience at lower price that Royal Enfield cannot provide with their overpriced products. Reviewer should do proper comparison.

The gear dropping feature is actually good because it do not let the engine work in too much of load , even if you are in 4th or 5th gear and you try to pull the bike from 40 to 80 it will affect the engine efficiency and secondly Honda cb 350s engine is more refined which means better milage and Engine performance, otherwise both bikes are really good

I had the BS4 Classic 350 which was riddled with quality issues and then upgraded to the Reborn 350 which was a refinement well worth. My RE is currently at close to 37000kms and three months ago bought the CB350 immediately after taking a test drive and now is at closer to 7000kms. Classic 350 issues show up even if you are periodically maintaining, heavier clutch, tapet noise issues, over heating and the vibrations have only gotten worse over time and rusting which is the most problematic. The CB350 have made me not touch the Classic. The Honda refinement level is day and night compared to the RE. Smoother, lighter clutch, easier in traffic and more comfortable. The service interval for the Honda is 6000km and the service experience is also very good compared to the horrible service centers RE has but you have to beware the Bigwing dealerships are not so common so if you dont live closerby to one then Honda may not be a right option but the interval is longer it will be worth it in longer long. The Honda sounds way better compared to the newer RE 350 models. Louder and thumpier.

Since I'm into going to remote villages farm from towns and cities, there is hardly any mechanic to fix it... 2022 i took the new classic 350 to Myanmar (rainy season) self stopped working and since their roads are constructed/dug over the mountains(like the stock charts) solo riding is difficult(would be difficult with helpers considering the weight of the bike... To sum up, i wasn't able to take my bike asking with me so i left my bike at some trusted people's house in Myanmar and took it only in 2023 Nov... Only the bearings were left of my bike(which only had a problem of self start)... Unless you want to ride in cities or on highways where mechanics are easily available, don't buy classic 350 or any other heavy duty bikes without dual starting options

Took ride for hyness but not happy with this gearing radio thing, ( Also h'ness and cb 350 looks smaller as compared to RE, After spending 2.5lac huge price to bike. it is my personal opinion) i am a Honda unicorn user since 16 years. Now going with Royal Enfield bullet 350 after watching your this video and previous video. Thanks bro. Very helpful.

Pls take a test ride before buying. I ride Honda highness regularly, the seats are stiff but suspension is good enough ! During the test drive I felt the classic was more comfortable for ME than the Honda and meteor . Only when you test ride you'll understand the comfort levels as it depends on your height , seating preference and weight of motorcycle

For lower back pain issues, you should not be roding heavy bikes at all. I think you would be better off with Xpulse 200 due to its suspension, weight factor, easy manoeuver ability and adjustability. Else look for similar segment bikes like Honda CB200 X or Vstrom 250 or KTM 250 adventure. If you want Royal Enfield only, you can go for Scram 411 or himalayan but they are heavier. Yet they are better than classic in terms of weight snd suspension.

I recently purchased a Honda CB 350 Highness, but now I'm regretting not choosing a Royal Enfield. Dealing with Bangalore traffic, I find myself frustrated with frequent gear changes, as the gear ratio is not suitable for daily commuting. If you're considering a bike for everyday use in Bengaluru traffic, opting for a Royal Enfield might be a better choice.

I wouldn't consider either one. Back in the mid '80s, I had a Honda CB350 Twin. Carbureted. It was a wonderful bike. It would handle 75 mph all day. Wish I still had it, or something like it. I now have several bikes, one of them being a bought new 2013 Royal Enfield B5 Bullet 500. It came with EFI, and the worst exhaust system I've ever seen. I quickly replaced the horrible and WAY too lean EFI with an Amal Concentric MK1 carburetor, properly jetted, and a nice exhaust from Hitchcock's. It now runs and rides beautifully, but has a top speed (for me) of around 55 MILES per hour. It will go faster, but I don't ride it faster, because it feels and sounds like the engine is going to fly apart. The Honda was smooth all the way up to top speed. But smooth is not why I bought the Royal Enfield. I wanted the feel and sound that come from a long stroke British single. Not only is the Classic 350 too smooth for me, but it's EFI cannot be replaced with a carburetor (same for the Honda, also the Honda has WAY too much flat black for me) and neither are capable of sustained 75 mph+ riding. I have a Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 for that. It's also carbureted, has a great sound and feel, and will go way faster than I will ever need it to.

Addendum to earlier comment: In addition to keeping their bikes along the styling of yore, as well as hanging chrome exhaust on both sides of their larger bikes for a symmetrical appearance, & installing center stands on big & smaller bikes, not to be forgotten is Royal Enfield also installing oil coolers.
This *should* contribute to longevity of the engines.
As said previously, the 3 motorcycles I've had thus far have been Hondas.
I'm considering a Royal Enfield as my 4th choice.

Honda's newer models have gone away from providing center stands.

The rider completely missed out to why the gear ratio is chosen as such, it's because you will be riding this mostly in city where a good midrange with torque is required, and so that you don't have to shift gears too much. Mileage, he skips on mileage completely. And sound is subjective, nowadays every chapri is going to slap an exhaust anyways, gota break the norm. Again gear paddle can be changed, and again you can tweak your rear I think. Honda CB350 it's not new, for those who don't know the word CB350 will never know what Honda brings to the table, it's the legacy of the same 1960s engine, and it's reliable and no nonsense durable engine.
