Why Learning & Using Runes is Extra Meaningful to Me

Stripping people of their own cultural practices is a tool of yt supremacy that has been used for centuries. Because some people were brave enough to continue practicing their rituals in secret, many of these have remained. But for those of us whose cultural practices were stripped generations ago, it’s left us now looking around for something, anything that speaks to us and co-opting spiritual practices from others.
This is me saying no to the homogeneity of whiteness and taking matters into my own hands to learn about where I came from.
