Shutting out "the noise" applies to so many obstacles in life. So very wise Gaga.
Headie Doll basically it s not the obstacles that she is talking about ....
you can't shut the obstacles right they come and come again without your permission .
she is trying to say that she doesn't focuses on any other gossips or talks which create disturbance .. noise is the lack of focus... its something that creates hindrance in the path of sound, occuring with varying frequency at a moment of time ..
applied here she says that it is your voice your thoughts that matter and not the *noise* which is trying to disturb your focus

That was so real
This is strange because that's exactly how I felt while working on my third novel. I was totally blocked and looking for anything and everything to get over this brick wall. Then one day, after months of chipping away at the wall, a tiny pinhole of light shone through from the other side then I just broke right through it. That's when the magic happened; the storyline came together, the words started flowing, and I just felt exhilarated that I had done it.
I really needed this today. Thank you :)

I love her reference to doors like alice in wonderland. The need to get to that door to get to the next stage. And yes she knows herself intrinsically well for such a young lady. I suddenly got how truly talented miss lady gaga was when she did the duet with Elton john- before i only thought her voice and music were just electronic stuff to fill the radio. ( maybe because of the era I grew up in.
Very very true. Lady Gaga seems to have a very old and wise soul for still being young. The way she talks and expresses herself especially in more personal interviews like this one, it would not seem like it is a 26-year-old (that was her age in this interview) speaking.
I can hear the words of ‘Alice’ ringing in my head as I read this. “My name isn’t Alice, but I’ll keep looking - I’ll keep looking for wonderland.”

My favorite singing by her was in the Tony Bennett film made by his son. It had a series of songs documented using various guest singers in the studio, (more than one studio) including Amy Winehouse. L.G. was great. But I don't dig the new album with Tony. It's overproduced.
Geez, it's like she has this idea of what she wants to say but it comes out in a bizarre long way that make you have to think about what she just said and I see what she's getting at most of the time. I feel you gaga I'm exactly the same.

She's clearly talking about Artpop here. A lot of people hated the album but I'm of the opinion that Artpop did all that she intended and more. I do not deny the absolute mainstream/commercial appeal of The Fame / Fame Monster & Born this way but, tbh, musically they were rather basic & shallow albums. Artpop changed the game for her. Aside from winning her a new calibre of discerning fans, it cemented a worldwide opinion of her artistry and talent beyond the costumes and live antics. She may not be as popular as before but I suspect this album bought her something more priceless - Longevity.
Dare I say, it possibly encouraged artistes like Beyonce & Rihanna to push their boundaries with Lemonade & Anti respectively. IMO, their best albums to-date as well.
And know look at her... Shining as the brighter star!! It takes time for a flower to bloom🌹❤️
It is not a matter of like or not like. As an artist it is more cmplicated. What I am doing is studying her technique around fame and performance. I cant say Iexactly like her or her products, but I learn an incredible amount from studying her interiews, watching her videos and listening to her petspectives on art. This make sense to me. It is a little too high brow for the general public. Here she is doing an incredible act. It is a great skill and only a great mind could come up with it.
I feel like Oprah, like many, dont get Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga uses a lot of humor. Her costumes and outfits are all parody and metaphors. She acted when she was in highschool. Here shei s doing a parody of a typical famous star and putting her acting skills to use. Saying what they always say. Almost making fun of it. Oprah doesnt get it.
The media closure she is talking about, is exactly what she has been doing for the past 3 months.
