I worked at a corporateMcDonald’s 1989-1995 and started at $3.25 per hour. Made it to shift manager then graduated college and pursued a career in law enforcement. About a year before I left they moved over to holding tray system which I thought brought the quality of food down slightly. I remember whisking eggs for the folded eggs and the biscuits used to be made from scratch. Times have changed. Enjoyed my time at McDonald’s and learned a lot about team work and retail food industry.
Love to hear the teamwork of folks offering to help out when you start working on something else, like the reg bun that needed toasted. The constant handing of empty trays to be replenished. A great crew can make all the difference. Act like a team, not competitors. Nicely done.
Nothing like watching a Multi Tasking Professional at work!! This should be a required video for workers undergoing kitchen training!! You definitely know what you’re doing!!!
I always love watching your videos. It's amazing because of how fast you work with the organized work station. You almost can work blindly because you know where everything is. That's important for working fast without going crazy.
I remember working at a McDonald's in 89 before they even had the clam shell grill. I literally did flip the burgers. The changes to the kitchen from that time are insane.
Breakfast burritos are one of the most underrated menu items at McDonalds. I especially like the picante sauce, which isn't too hot but adds a nice kick. The only problem is when they have been in the UHC for too long and the tortillas dry out. Would love to see a video of them being made, as others have said.
Totally different than when I worked there as a teen 30 years ago lol. Very neat and interesting to see how things have changed and how a couple have stayed the same (the fry/hash brown station)
I worked at mcdonalds for over 1 month now, and they only had me take orders on drive through during lunch hours. On an 8 hour shift until 12, they wanted me to do a morning shift the next day at 7 in the morning so I only had a few hours of sleep after showering and eating. Doing a whole new menu for breakfast and it was stressful trying to figure out the terms or all items on the breakfast menu on drive through.
Tortilla on the wrapper, break a cheese in half and put longways, then a even scoop of mix and evenly roll it up then wrap and add the sticker. 20 to a pan and microwave 22 then number of burritos cooked ex: 6 burritos is 226 and put in blue UHC tray and slide in the burrito slot and press timer
He is the franchise owner so he only works alittle bit inside when he needs to help his group out. I forget how many hrs a week he said awhile back he works making sandwiches or cooking but it wasn't much at all.
I worked at McD UK in the early 1990's - apart from the fryer everything looks alien to me! Everything was cooked to order on the breakfast shift... But Saturday lunchtime was something else, doing 12/6 bun lays or pull lays banging out 6 Big Macs every minute. How times have changed
2 McMuffins and 2 hashbrowns with a large Dr Pepper at 9 am. Thats like the best unhealthy breakfast ever. So good it makes me giggle like a little kid.
One of the best biscuit and sausage sandwiches I have had was at one of the DFW airport McDonald's first thing when they opened. I use the app in airports because I can use points to get free food with how expensive it is in the airport.
I'm so happy the steak, egg & cheese is back. It's been one of my longtime favorites - but it's way more fire on the mcmuffin with the circle egg for me. :) and every time I watch your videos - I always think. McDonald's Corporate needs to hire you full time as a Corporate Trainer VP or something - and go train a good majority of the McDonald's in the US - as you have it down to a science. :)
Oh yes! Thank you for sharing once again my good friend. Now I’m craving a delicious McGriddle and Iced Caramel Coffee. I wish all of youse guys good health and prosperity. Warm Greetings from lovely and fabulous NJ. - Gary.
Cool its the real gary bettman im a huge fan of yours and appreciate the hard work you put in your clubs especially my beloved islanders hope to see u on tv soon gary. And may the best club win
So jealous seeing the breakfast bagels there as they announced UK McDonalds will never get them back. >< Seeing you make them there really shows there's no reason we can't have the bagels or breakfast wraps back, they're clearly no more difficult than making a muffin. The UK McDonalds have really become terrible recently, removed so much stuff and every new item they launch is just the same items they already had with an extra patty or sauce, no innovation at all.
I don't know about this location but I do know someone who makes them in our local store. He goes in and spends a few hours making up a bunch of them, so kind of pre-made but definitely made in the store each morning.
the location i work at does it overnight, someone from night crew comes in and puts together/wraps the burritos for a few hours and stores them in the walk in freezer for morning crew to take out and thaw said burritos so they are ready to be heated up and served
The Mcdonalds' around my area do not have bagels. They look really good. Is there a substitute for the biscuit on the big breakfast with pancakes? I just think it was too much bread. Thank you!
The breakfast bagel sandwiches are incredible, but I never have been able to find out what the sauce they put on the bagel is. It makes the already awesome sandwich even better.
my location is getting the bagels back soon but they aren't gonna have things like steak, it's just gonna be the items they already have like sausage/bacon and the variants of egg which is a bummer i wanna try that steak one so bad
Their breakfast is outstanding, but lunch and dinner is gross it almost always Makes me sit on the toilet for a bit after eating it. Much like taco bell 🤮🤮
I'd be happy if my local store could just read the grill slip, prepare the food accordingly, and manage to get it all into the bag. Apparently "-MUSTARD -KETCHUP +MAYO" is an almost insurmountable challenge requiring manager intervention to accomplish, as is making sure that everything on the order gets put in the bag. We've given up on the Drive-Thru, and now order at the counter so that we can easily unpack and inspect our order before leaving. 35 years ago we manged to get it right without the automation and with verbal grill orders (no little slips), or they would can us and find somebody who could.

You’re gay
worked fast food myself then went private sector as security. hope LE treated you well and you're nearly retired if not already!
This gives me hope I'll make it out of retail food
I can’t believe the minimum wage was only $3.25 an hour which state is that
@@johnjeffreys6440 remember, inflation exists
The sound of the paper when wrapping a sandwich is oddly satisfying.
That’s called ASMR, my friend…
Just got of work at McDonald's and I love watching these seeing how other McDonald's run yours is nicer than ours
can definitely tell

Respect for all mcdonalds workers!

Love how polite you are. A please and thank you goes a huge way with your staff

How satisfying a moment was it when you caught that muffin and then were proudly able to say "Out of muffins!" at the end it!
I have severe insomnia, and hate ASMR. But your videos make me fall asleep (in a very good way). Thank u so much❤
I always find these videos relaxing

Would like to see a video how the burritos are made and assembled!
Idk, I cringed when I heard breakfast, BURRITO ? At McDonald's ? Hey I don't even like the idea of Taco Bell making breakfast burritos.
FACTS
Same. I was so bummed when there was that national shortage on the hot picante sauce for like a year.
This is kind of asmr as is lol
I like to imagine all of the people you just fueled up for the morning.
Each order is gonna keep somebody energized while they do their jobs too.
Yes! Was waiting for another breakfast video! Keep them coming! 😊
Why are these videos so enjoyable and relaxing? Love them! Thanks! 👍❤️
Killin that B-Fast rush. GD now I want some Micky D's Breakfast
You’re a breakfast making machine! Very impressive…….. Thanks for what you do! I appreciate it. 👍🏻👍🏻
Watching this made me crave a huge McDonald's breakfast!
Big breakfast with hotcake is the best. It's super yummy 😋.
My sister loves the hotcakes
I recently just started working at McDonald's and your content helps a lot!
fantastic to see how this stuff happens thank you 🥰🥰🥰
Totally different than when I worked there as a teen 30 years ago lol. Very neat and interesting to see how things have changed and how a couple have stayed the same (the fry/hash brown station)
For some reason this is very calming to me
Need more workers like you. Hell of a job 👍

tbh these videos just make me appreciate the efficient industrial design of mcdonald's restaurants
Watching these videos before going to work at McDonald, feels a bit like inception.
missed these, thanks for the upload
That muffin catch was clutch tho
Show us how the burritos are made, please! ♥
the stuff in the burrito comes in a bag frozen, as well as the tortillas. we have to slap em together ourselves.
Damn you were efficient, it was cool to watch .:) The only hiccup was saved by a solid catch.
Can you please post longer lunch and breakfast videos? 🥺 I love watching your videos! ❤❤❤

McDonald’s breakfast is where it’s at 🙌

There's something oddly satisfying about these videos I don't know what it is 😅
When ever I go hit McDonald's for breakfast, I always get 2 bacon Eggers, a hash brown and a small coffee, starts the day off right! Nice job there, 👍
Your videos inspired me to work in the kitchen at my mcdonald's! I'm really enjoying it, I've been there for three months, no looking back

I agree I rarely eat McDonald's as I don't find it exciting here but I enjoy these videos all the same.
Who makes the breakfast burritos? I noticed they are pre made. Great content by the way!
I don't know about this location but I do know someone who makes them in our local store. He goes in and spends a few hours making up a bunch of them, so kind of pre-made but definitely made in the store each morning.
They are handmade everyday, then heated up before going in the UHC. (At least at my location)

How are the breakfast burritos made and cooked? They are my favorite items on the breakfast menu
The breakfast bagel sandwiches are incredible, but I never have been able to find out what the sauce they put on the bagel is. It makes the already awesome sandwich even better.
They just call it breakfast sauce you can add it to any sandwich you want. It's kinda like a holldianse sauce.
I'm in Iowa and haven't seen these in years, they were my favorite
they came back last year after a few year getaway lol@@jeffdevries6508

Hi mate, will you make a video about cleaning the grills?
I wish the McDonald’s where I live had what y’all’s has. Mainly the bagels!!!
Do you always show the label facing up on the paper to match what the sandwich is ?

I’m curious, what do you do with the leftover breakfast items when it’s time to serve lunch?? 😋

McDonalds breakfast is so good bruh
Their breakfast is outstanding, but lunch and dinner is gross it almost always Makes me sit on the toilet for a bit after eating it. Much like taco bell 🤮🤮
I never had a bagel before at McDonald's, what does the breakfast sauce taste like?
They scrapped the big breakfast in Australia :( use to love it.
Do you still do bagels over there they stopped them here in uk since lockdown😢😢
if watching these types of vids does not convince you to learn how to cook then nothing will
