Just a little thing to add on:
You can get 50 crystals every time you rank up and 550 (500+50) crystals everytime you rank up every 10 times. But once you reach Rank 310, 320.. on, the 500 crystals will be replaced by 5 large energy cans so yeah, oof.

FINALLY SOMEONE IS SAYING 100 CRYSTALS ARE A CRAPPY TRADE. I have always got practice scores to upgrade cards!
I used my calculator for the challenge shows
I think it was 3400 crystals for 1 million score (which you can obtain even with 1 4 star card + 3 stars)
So if you do this with every character you’ll get 88k crystals
Note: it’ll take a while since you also have to level up the cards, you can obtain it in a minimum of 26 days depending on how fast you level up your cards
You’ll also need rank 22 for that character
I think 170000 power should be enough for a score of 1 million on hitorinbo envy

HEAAVYYYY ON THE CHARACTER RANKING!!! It seriously cannot be expressed enough how helpful they are 😭😭 I've been on the journey of unlocking every character for challenge shows and that alone has gotten me so many crystals it's ridiculous

i'd like to add that it's only for the events with the cheerful lives (competitive co-op) that the event shop only has 300 crystals. If you win you get 200, totaling the 500 you usually get from the shop. But if you lose you get 150, which is only 50 less, so cut your losses and just have fun!
Also YESS CHALLENGE SHOWS. do keep in mind that you should be watching out for character ranks 13, 18, and 22 because those extra slots really really help and even getting one more low lvl 3 star card in there can exponentially increase your score. I recommend playing Hitorinbo Envy on ideally expert (but do master if you can) for highest scores. though for tiering/ranking in the events, I'd recommend Daughter of Evil.
Tbh I don't recommend playing the shorter songs, I personally play beat eater (the only song I can always get FC on) or viva happy bc they give a little more score
@monikaaaax3 Songs that aren't Envy are more skill activation-dependent, so some days your score will be lower than usual. At least with Envy if you get bad skill order it affects you less than if it happens in Viva.
edit: tbh this only matters if you want to earn the most event points from Challenge Live during events if you feel too lazy to think. If it's outside event period, then you can do whatever song you want.
I think you got the two mixed up, Daughter of Evil gives more score yet takes longer so THAT should be used for challenge shows 😭 whilst Hitorinbo Envy is used for tiering, if you want a longer song to save your bonus energy drinks Lost and Found is a better option
Im saving like a dog for dark festa so i hope this helps, also i did NOT know that in the future we will be able to get crystals form old events if you dont skip
I'm pretty sure it's only like 50 crystals for the whole event story tho, I'm saving up for dark festa as well lol gl!!
i'm going to wish on the colorfes banner that includes the darkfesta cards and just pray the double rates actually do their job...i'm most excited for the added ways to get badges for character ranks! i really hope the eng/global server devs can come in clutch with that one :')

Omg, tysm for explaining it in depth! I’ve seen other “farming guides” explain the combo thing, for example, and never go into exactly how much you get from that, making me think it must not be worthwhile, but with this explanation it becomes much clearer! Keep up the good content 💖
if you can't S rank songs with your team play co op (veteran room is better for this) it gives you an S rank often and the crystals that some with it

3:50 also, if your out of area conversations, you can read an old event story till episode 8. It will give you new area conversations.

I think they just didn’t make relationship titles for them or they never interacted. I think Rui doesn’t have a trust rank witn Leo/need

Tip: when you buy a new piece of decoration all the conversations reset, so you don't have to go to the title
This only works when you buy it the first time, upgrades don't reset anything
it's easier and faster to just start a show and then quit it imo
