Just did a shop in lidl. They have a similar product as hothands two for just over £4 and the vacuum bags maybe £4.99 Ea. I picked one up, then put it back. Now I see Andy use one and that a Flex tail works on them, ill be back to get one.

A lot of parking restrictions on the roads in Glenridding only apply from Good Friday to September 30, so you may not need to pay to stay in the car park during the winter.

I recall first watching one of your vids a few years back, where you had a cracking inversion. It was the catalyst for me to become a wild camper and never missing one of your vids 👍😉
I was at school with a couple of lads whose grandfather was a miner at Greenside! As you were walking along the road, the building on your right was the old powder house... dynamite store towards the end! After the mine was closed, it was used for research into the magnitude of military explosive....Lee and Johns grandad was one of the people contracted to help conduct the test, and was sadly killed during the aforementioned test. Another bit of info for you...if you look closely at the concrete dam, it was reinforced using "used" drill steels! The top Keppelcove dam was built for the earliest phase of the Greenside mine. In my younger days we used to ski the headwall of Red Tarn and Keppelcove,amongst other crazy places!..... exciting days, and Winters with more snow then these days!! Enjoyed the video, don't go up that way much these days even tho' I can see the top of Helvellyn from the bedroom...to many folk for me! TFS cheers Alistair 👍

Parked overnight a few times at glenridding mate, brilliant access to some great mountains, I camped on Sheffield pike last time I was there, that house you looked at has been on sale for a while now, surprised it’s still for sale tbh, I also camped just below catstye cam earlier this year at red tarn , worst thing to walk on is scree, had a few close calls 😂, take care 👍 what are the tab argon pants like ? That house you were looking at used to be a bunk barn, I stayed in it 2 nights when I did Helvellyn Triathlon. It’s been done up since then.

yeah the new jacket is the vapour rise light..really good jacket for hiking in the winter conditions..

the main car park in glenridding £8:50 for 24 hour...or further up the road the patterdale hotel charge £10 overnight..
