Jo Nakashima - Origami Tutorials this is an awsome origami wolf simple and rich thank you app much
thanks for letting me know that in the video instead of letting me get furious and not wanting to try again
*Diagrams available!* jonakashima.com.br/2017/01/22/origami-wolf/
I love that you have the diagram up at the same time as the step. Very, very nice! Easy to follow!
Another beautiful model and a very good tutorial, thanks, I loved folding and sculpting it!
After two times of carefully studying the video at 0.5x the speed, and with the help of some tape, I have done it! Thank you so much for the tutorial:)
8:19 took me a good minute to get right
i tore my paper in 1001 pieces in frustration. will try it again some day, but with larger paper i think
This is one of my absolute favorite origami animals. He is just adorable, and the final shaping is totally inspired. The video was also very easy to follow for a more advanced folder. Thank you!
I've done this one about 8 times now, and always do the wet folding parts dry, because i don't know how to wet fold... could you do a detailled guide on that?
For a wet fold you put the model into a bowl of water than dry it in the sun.
Hm. This actually looks really easy. Then again, i have made more complex origami in the past. To everyone who is new to origami, remember these things: It has been done, it can be done. So there is not much stopping you.
If at first you don't succed, take a break, look at it really hard, try to figure out what that step SHOULD do, and try again.
If you are a beginner, expect to fail 3 times before you get a good one.
Some of these folding techniques (such as at 08:11 for example) may look intimidating if you have never done such a fold. But if you have done it before, it becomes a piece of cake and an exercise in precision. With time you will start to learn what sinks, swivels, rabbit ears, reverse folds, outside reverse folds are, and what to look for when doing them. Then you will look at this and go, yeah right i can do this for you, gimme 5 mins...
Maybe 10 if you want to do it well, don't get discouraged...
I did it! Took about 40 mins I think but it looks really nice actually! I did it with a 15 x 15 cm paper (6x6 for Americans) and would reccomend a larger size as some of the late shaping could only be done with minimal detail since there just wasn't much paper. Thx for the tutorial Jo!
Perfect timing: I was looking for a new origami to fold right now, and you published this. I'm so happy, thank you
I did it! For all the people who got stuck, all you gotta do is to just rewatch the part you don't understand over and over. Worked for me! Thanks for this amazing origami :)
It's so easy, perfect, and a nice and creative origami to do. I'm sure my friends will like it.
well, it is easy for a more expirienced origami artist. dont worry, youll get there!@@smartbooklight1056
Mine was all good until the indents...now it looks like a potato 🙃
Jo Nakashima - Origami Tutorials 😂😂😂😂😂 😱😱😱I agree, but mine was a doughnut.... Yum!
100% agree, it must be the kind of paper or the wet fold or something I don't understand. I should have stopped before he just started magically molding the paper with his fingers.
@@daltonbragg7692 The kind of paper is really important for that kind of origami !!
Hey jo,
The video was awesome!!
Did it finally after 1 hr!
Would be of immense help if you could make a tutorial on how. To wet foli
the wolf is so adorable. I made it in small paper so it's kinda crunch but I'm prerry proud of it
Now that as a bookmark, that would be EPIC!
YES!!! I DID IT!!! it took me 30 min. ... it will e a perfect present for my dad, he has birthday on 25. 4. :D I´m soooo excited!! I thought, it will be very hard, but only few were THAT hard...BUT I DID IT!!!
Good on ya!!!!! Power through! (just realised how old that comment was... whoops)
Unicorn
I did it in about that amount of time too! It doesn’t look too good though but I think it’s fine!
Jo, your nearly at one million subscribers! hope your channel keeps growing . I love your videos and models. thank you for uploading them to CZcams. Origami is my favourite hobby thanks to you! : )
very cool design, super simple folds and easy to follow with good video + diagram instructions. The shaping towards the end is a bit of a struggle to do well, and I think having original origami paper would help (as the thickness holds the shaping better) but I was happy with my model. Managed to just barely follow along at 1x speed!
When I asked my mom what I folded, she spent 5 minutes thinking and finally decided that it was a
BIRD
The end is more a freestyle than anything
I did it! This is like, the first ever actually-not-so-simple-and-pretty-cool origami thing I have ever made! (And I really like the fold chart in the top corner- it helps you understand what and where you should fold the paper!)
The King Cobra Gaming videos
Now go and see his channel another video how to make pegasus make that or
Make the dragon
Thank you so much. I did it for my 3 years old and it took me about 30+ mins. Looks pretty like yours.
Finally completed! My Son adores wolves 🐺 so I was determined to make this origami happen! Looks close enough! Thanks
Easy to follow, wonderful to fold. Thanks Jo!
Muchas gracias por compartir tus conocimientos y tú tiempo.
Amazing again. This is my second piece from yours - the dragon being my first one. As others have said - I almost fainted when I got to 8:11! I finally got through it though... the valley(?) fold on that one was just difficult to conceptualize.
Videos are definitely useful for seeing you follow through it. Also rounding off the wolf back, legs, and head was surprisingly difficult for me. The paper didn’t want to bend the right way...
Really love it though! I am considering doing something for some co-workers in anticipation of Game of Thrones season 8! Wolves and Dragons...
One more thing - the thing I’m loving most about your videos is that it is really making me step outside my comfort zone with folding.
It’s one thing to make an origami piece with nice straight lines and sharp corners.. something else completely when you add the small details to make that much more “realistic”.
@@chavezbg86 The paper that I was using didn't bend in a curve too. It just tore off. Unless we use the same paper Jo does, it won't bend in that elegant manner.
EXTREMELY good tutorial! The pictures alongside the video are very helpful. I'll have to try this again with better paper than gift wrap, lol
I didn't made any origami since i left school and went to work. Now i saw this video and tought, why i shouldt try it :D
I'm proud that it look the same as your wolf
Again AWESOME and AMAZING. I've done this wolf, the chest, one dragon, the snake, and the letters and I am going to continue doing only your origamis. Thanks for all of this fantastic and original origamis!
WOW its soo enjoyable to do , with such a Great Result !!! Abit Hard But Fun , Its Scary How There Are So Many Hate Comments . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK JO. I WILL ALWAYS LOOM FORWARD TO YOUR NEW TUTORIALS .
Finally done. Took 1 hour but worth it. Great design Jo and keep the great videos coming!😁
8:11 that part was sooooo hard for me I literally lost all my patience and just ripped the whole thing 😫
For me too. I'm still doing it.. and trying it.. I lost 4 hours of my life which I can't get back and I think there will be more..
Same, I begun the 8 first minutes, stucked 15min, destroyed the whole thing and now I am angry and I hate origami.
You need to crease the lines very hard both directions before attempting this step with most paper. Makes it a cinch.
it was really easy! I finished it in less than 20 minutes
Thank you again! ^_^ Very clear and easy to watch.
This is gonna be worth snapping my back.
It's a lovely model. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing wolf Jo! I love your origami models :)
Thanks! I just made it out of chocolate wrapping :)
I did it!~ I showed my parents and they were so proud of me! Thank you so much!
This is like an asmr video, i love it
Me when I saw the thumbnail: OMG that looks so good😭😭😭 something I would never have the willpower to try😭😭😭
Your designs are amazing! What process do you go through when designing?
Wolf looks like a real! beautiful job, will try to do it
omg i love the video cuz u guys tell which side up
rest all channels doesn't tell which side up ending us with white color side up and colourful side beneath
this is the thing i loved the most
thanx:)
Finally after spending 20 minutes at the 8min step my wolf is finally done ;;; I'm really proud he is not perfect but it look like a wolf !
The wolf was awesome, and it helped me to impressed my friends. Thanks
i love this video so much! in second grade, i made this wolf with ease! jo makes this video so easy to follow along even i could make it in second grade:)
This is a perfect origami, perfect!!!
I spent like an hour on this and was really proud of it. Then l showed it to my dad, who said “wow,
what a cool squirrel.
Great tutorial, every step is shown very clearly. It's not an easy model, but this tutorial made it possible for me to have a nice paper wolf :)
I was like:This wolf origami is cool. "15 minutes later" Nah nevermind I'll just sleep.
What I learn Today..... Origami=patience ❤️....this man has magical hands🙏
And I thought I was a talented person for doing origami until this! Great tutorial I know I can make it as good as you after a million tries!😃😃😃🐺
JUST finished my wolf. I'm not proud of it but it turned out amazingly cute. Thanks for this great tutorial! I wish I could do the final semi-fold things the way you do one day. T_T
what is the process for actually designing and creating origami?
yep.I made a dragon and a star wars thing you only need some imagination and memory
Solomon Bascon nope. Math. A shit ton of math. And not a shit ton of 1+1. A shit ton of math and complex geometry
Solomon Bascon the imagination part comes in when you have the base comoleted and you need to detail it. But the rest is math and frustration.
I did it😍 i cant believe i did it😍 its the third thing im learning 😀 tanq so much
I love Wolves!!! :D
Tordle same but I couldn't even do this freaking thing cuz it was to fast
Exactly how do you conceptualize this?
There are a lot of soft folds in this design. Takes a lot more finesse and patience, but so worth it. I'm going to make one of these for my best friend, she loves wolves.
*Expectativa:*
_Vai ficar bonitinho, igual ao do vídeo..._
*Realidade:*
É um lobo? É um lobo. Parece um lobo? Não muito. Ficou bonito? Eh... pensando bem, não parece um lobo...
Astoundingly beautiful.
I am absolutely going to sell this, i absolutely will!
🙌
@ 8:23 and all you see in the corner is *that*
Let's salute to this genius!
Thanks for the instructions, I posted on Intsagram and it got top post!
Awsome dude... I got it at my first attempt, your video is very good, thanks man!
I can fold along it just fine, but its when you start finger smushing everything into shape that I get lost.... mines keep looking like crumpled up dogs
You need special wet origami paper with has fibres activated when wet to help sculpt the paper in place- it’s a lot thicker than original origami paper
Its hard to do it but its pretty clear to know what to do. Thanks.
Beautiful piece - congratulations, and thanks a lot for sharing.
Hint: to prevent the rear legs from spreading, you can twist the lower outer corners; and to prevent the whole piece from spreading, you can twist the lower corner in the internal "spine."
I made so many other creations that are decapitated or tailess for my dad and he puts them by his window where he works, kinda makes me feel bad. Let's hope this won't end up bad! Wish me luck peeps!
Se puede hacer con cartulina?
Muy Bueno la verdad Che. Lo felicito al hombre
I made this, and it was sooooooooooooo cool!
so this happens, frst 3 seconds of the video i freakin just push te subscribe button
11:24 I don't know how did you make :(( it's really hard
I spent like an hour on this and was really proud of it. Then I showed it to my dad, who then said “Wow, what a cool squirrel!”
