    I began listening to Jean in the late 50’s early 60’s of the “ Beat “ generation. I’m still a teenager in an octogenarian body of 81. I finally have realized hoe great looking I was in the 1960’s and never knew it. Now I know why my wife thought I was a prize. Lol

      It’s crazy to think in about a half year from the time this show aired the country would be changed terribly…. Our president will be cut down in Dallas

    I’ve listened to a lot of Jean Shepherd, and I can’t count the number of times when he makes some observation or prediction that I mutter silently “Boy, you have no idea Shep!”
