Love it when you go full out with the lighting etc. The excitement it your voice! For what its worth - I think this looks friggin' amazing but the green floor lights might be a "bit" to intense as at least on camera they take over the cabin. Cosmic Scale Models kills it again!
We shall see next week what you want to do for a final hull colour but honestly in my mind, I thought the “Satin Terracotta” actually looked closer than the “Brick” tone did. However, this is your model and whatever you choose will be more than fine.
Maybe add a little yellow to Satin Brick.....or even try a Burnt Umber fine coat to add some depth to the hull.......Awesome work as Always Uncle Lou........

Wow, not a ship you would likely see a kit for. And an impressive one at that. The lighting turned out great. Nice to have a big window so all that detail doesn't get lost. It's a wacky design but fits the Ferengi tech style.
That is a spectacular model-- just a hint of "3D" things to come and the promise of -- hmmm... well, "garage kit" doesn't seem quite right... uhhh... cyber kit, 3-D kit, resin kit, home kit. Dunno. But the excitement and new is upon us. Very nice to see. As for you-- well, given a kit that size it's no wonder you lit everything you could. There's plenty of room. Interesting that hull color and all that strange set interior fooling around. I think there may have been only Quark's ship we got to know? Maybe another one but not much of that. When we say a thing is a gem, we usually mean something small, so I'll call that a kohinoor. Seems to have modern Tamiya level fit and the absence of build li n es b is... what's the opposite of frustrating? You got a whole lot done and look like a very happy man. Speaks well for the kit.
Lou, just a thought. Consider viewing my posts on the 2001 sites. Regarding using 'in line' mini potentometers. They allow you to regulate specific circuits brightness. Using a small screwdriver, You can dim or brighten, those green banks, and balance the overall light.
ABSOLUTELY fantastic 3D build quality! Never seen better. You should have LOTS of fun with that one.....rather than fighting defects, and revolving production problems. Enjoy this one, Lou! 👍
Lou your an artist ,I was never a fan of the ferengi shuttle but that kit is just a beauty. Love watching your videos I always learn something new with every model no matter what the subject matter is.
Great build Lou, I find it amazing how well these modern printed kits are improving. Its good to see you really enjoying this one. Loved the Bob Ross moment with the hull colors. This will be a winner at Wonderfest, I feel it in da Schwartz................
@@richardstiers9010 Sure. I used it on my Enterprise Cutaway. I used it on the seams on the 4 saucer sections and secondary hull. I built it as a one piece. I used the CA glue first, then the JB Weld, I sanded the outside areas smooth and left it thick on the unseen insides. And finished it up with Bondo. You can see my build on my channel here on CZcams. 🙂
If you really wanted to add some practicality to the interior you could build some bunks on between the two arches just before the rear door to fill up some of that space.

Im building the 1/72 atm Get exactly the same just smaller and the quality is just as good , Iv only dry fit the engine area so far but dont seem to have any fit issue like yours, Iv gone away from the grey floor in "Little Green Men" when Nog walks back into the cabin it looks like its a orangey brown carpet so im flocking mine. Im loving what your doing with the Interior colours
Nice to see something different in the Star Trek universe besides Federation starships! The lighting is incredible, and the size and scope of the spaceship are impressive!
Quarks Treasure was only used in ONE DS9 episode!!!! Little Green Men. The other Ferengi shuttles you have seen are smaller ships used once one STNG and one episode of Voyager!!

DS9 stuff is hard to find. Especially quality kits. Great build. I really wish DS9 would get the respect it deserves. AMT will never build kits for ds9 and its a crying shame. The show ages very well and has much more heart than any other sci-fi show by a huge margin. Just too bad. I heard a story about production I'm not sure if it's true but there was a shot where a light fixture spun around in the background. The continuity person walked in and saw it... she almost fainted seeing that her day was going to be spent tracking that light fixture. So one of the actors saw her and saw her dilemma. She didn't feel right telling the set Dec person they couldn't do it so the actor went over to the director who was setting up a shot with the dp. The actor pointed to the continuity woman and told him about it. He immediately let the actor in on the practical joke they were playing on her. The spinning fixture was being turned by hand and it was never going to turn for the filming. The whole thing was a joke to mark her 1 year anniversary with production. They had a little get together at the end of shooting for her and a few other people that joined during that time..... must have been a fun place to work.
well looks good and yes two fast food stuff come mind its ribs are cooking down stares one yes mic dees and other some say it the crusy crab hek you change out a bit bet you can do a crusty crab LOL to nest vid and yes to master of lights to great stuf

Looks great so far. Seems like the green lights of the side console could use some fiber fill to tone the brightness down just a touch.

I like the Terracotta , I thought the ships were a darker flat orangey color though.

i think the green could use some defusing just so green does not appear to be the dominant color
