US 30 Dragstrip 1983 68-70 Chevelle 69 Camaro Hot Rods #1

Illiana Street Machines were based out of the far Southeast Side of Chicago, East Side Neighborhood. This was a trip to US 30 Dragstrip in Merrillville, IN in 1983. Various hot rods. Mine is the silver 68 Chevelle.

I cannot believe this! I'm the current owner of the 67 camaro in the beginning at the jewel parking lot. That is my car! I bought it in 93 I believe. It had the same paint, black with purple highlights and the little stars on the pillar. Lmao. I currently have it running in the high 9s. I cannot believe this. I just stumbled upon it.

Great video. im 60 now so this takes me back to some good days......i still have my 69 chevelle, so i'm especially diggin' your 68....the 12 bolt and the lakewoods....lol.....good times. I'd like to share these with some friends on a FB page i manage, we're all from s/w chicago and burbs.....
