    Great video many thnks for sharing.
    The station masters garden was actually the other side of the railway along the railway embankment but the one now renovated is actually doris wards old garden which had old railway carriages for a home and the base is still visible.

      Aha ...... so the so called "building" was the base for the carriage as I suspected it may be. Would love to see a photo of that carriage.

    Brilliant video as usual !. Regarding the actual railway line closure......
    The line was closed on 2 May 1964, except for the stub from Peterborough to Oundle which was retained as a freight-only service, mostly for house coal. Special trains to and from Oundle School, a boarding school, operated until 1972, when the line closed completely.

    Love cycling up Loves Hill. Peterborough is too flat. Love hearing the church bells as you ride by. People ignore the 20mph speed limits. Needs a speed camera.
