Just picked up my Phonak Audeo Life. The induction charger is very cool. I'm using a startup kit activent as I'm told they haven't officially hit the market for ordering. The click is barely noticeable when changing over. I just picked these up 2 hours ago and love them so far. Looking forward to your review.
Can't wait for the review😀
perfect timing. I was just looking at Phonak hearing aid info online. It's time to try and bring back music into my world. Phonak may be the answer. Fingers crossed.
I've got the new Phonak Life hearing aids coming in at my audiologist office. Pairing with the automatic dome to see if I like it. To your knowledge, is the Audio Life top tier like the Paradise model P90?
Interesting! I wonder why Cochlear processors especially the off the ear technology still need covers with this possibility! I hope that’s the future for both hearing aids and cochlear implants. Hopefully the receiver part could be modified so that different types of domes could still be used for future products as well. Phonak seems to be launching quite a large feature-set in general nowadays compared to the other brands!
when will it come on the market?
Wow, exciting times! Manufacturers popping out new HA everywhere haha
i need this thanks for sharing this with us i love to run & be in the pool but when i am i can not hear anyone
Dear cliff, our son is using opus 2 from med-el.can you pls help us with t-coil hearing,we mean which loop system from phonak should we take.ty
woow ! Thanks news !
I would be interested to see redux results from this product
Does the water proofing impact the speakers at all, does it require different domes/wax guards or the same?
One more question Dr Cliff, I often find the microphone is too much like a 'speaker phone' mike, has that improved at all?
Nice to see profesional excitement towards the tech progress in this field. And yes, it was time for Phonak to break some boundaries and set the new standard.
Do we know if the inductive charging will affect the charging time of the Audéo Life? Historically induction have been slower than traditional galvanic charging
Grate News Dr. I waiting Thanks for This information
if you have any opportunitie for me please reply me
Dr Cliff does it have a better way to pair. I have to take the battery in and out to put it in pair mode on my audeo marvels.
No, same thing. However, you can now pair to 8 different devices at the same time and keep 2 pairings active at the same time as well.
As an active person with severe hearing loss this is exciting news!
Edit . Most new tech excites me ! Would really like to know where you think hearing aid tech will be in 10 years
When will they release this new hearing aid? My audiologist just ordered a set of paradise hearing aids for me, but maybe I should tell the doctor to wait for the new one?
i dont see the point in switching to these ones over the paradise. virtually the same, just the new one is waterproof. up to you how important that is. paradise is still top notch and still very water resistant
I'm in the same situation. Would love to know when they will be available.
I think you better not wait, my guess is that this hearing aid will be a lot more expensive than the usual Audeo.
In addition, the charger will certainly be more expensive because it is an inductive charge and now especially due to the lack of chips, it may be much more expensive because it will be difficult to buy a charger, especially if your existing one breaks down.
It may be better to buy the one you ordered, and buy a series like this later when it is polished and market hearing aids that are waterproof.
@@megamachine7818 ah, Okay. As I don’t have to pay for them I thought it would be a smart thing to go with better features. In Norway they give it to you for free if you have need for them, and you can upgrade every 6 years or if a new version has been released with significantly better features
I literally just got my paradise hearing aids. Oh well. Guess I'll have to keep sticking my fingers in my ears before I get in the pool or shower.
You may talk to your hearing provider and see if you can return yours and get these. It would piss me off if I were in your shoes. I'm jealous, I got my Marvels months before the Paradise's came out.
I was within the 2 months and Phonak is letting me change my P90 for these!
I'm guessing this will become the standard for hearing aids going forward. Look at waterproof phones these days. It wasn't that long ago that you would ruin an iphone when you left it in your swimming trunks.
Don't you think you're getting a little biased towards phonak?
I'm biased towards any manufacturer who releases new technology. If the other manufacturers want more coverage, they need to release more stuff QUICKER!
Not that impressive, no innovations In the actual processing? A mechanical venting speaker that they can only afford to insure for warranty for 6 months?
Oh man that’s great news. I’ve got an appointment with an audiologist next week as I’ve had my eyes on the Audéo paradise P90 for sometime and with the active vent being a game changer!
Having full waterproofing I can keep them in at the gym and not miss out on the instructor! will have to weigh up the costs!
Dr Cliff you da man! 👍👊
