How to fix broken cleats for under $10

Ever had cleats that separated from the soleplate? Dumb question yeah if you play on turf this has happened to you.
Now if they are brand new you can send them back usually nike, adidas, and every other soccer/football company will replace them if its legit.
....but these cleats were too old and I needed a quick fix for cheap.
So found some Gorilla glue in my house which cost $2.99 (before shipping) and some painters tape which cost $2.00 (before shipping).

As you can see went super cheap :)
Instructions are super easy:
1. get a paper towel wet it - gorilla glue - painters tape - broken cleat
2. wipe the soleplate and leather to dampen.
3. apply glue generously.
4. clamp down with painters tape .
5. wait 1 hour to dry and remove tape.
It really is super simple, but of course I made it difficult lol

Try a urethane adhesive called Freesole by McNett. I have repaired many shoes including soccer cleats with that. For any adhesive, surface preparation is key so the surfaces to be joined are clean and free of grease/oil. Leftover Freesole can be stored in freezer just about forever--just heat the tube up in a cup of hot water when it is needed again.

Pro tip use gorilla apoxy it is stronger and dries clear so it won't look as bad

FLUFFY _MIX I would say first check and see if they are covered by warranty. If they are not covered and Nike will not replace them, then Yes.

I think it was a nice fix. maybe next time add more compression perhaps with a clamp so the glue does better sticking with the walls of the cleat.

Bro the exact same shoe , the exact same thing happened to a pair that I bought from this chick off Craigslist. She said she had them put away for 8 years. Anyway I just used a newer formula of shoegoo, hopefully it works
