  • In its first two years, sneaker startup Allbirds sold more than a million pairs of shoes. The San Francisco-based company says it's committed to using sustainable environmental practices to make what it calls "the world's most comfortable shoe." The company is launching Tree, a new line of shoes with material sourced from eucalyptus. Co-founders Tim Brown and Joey Zwillinger join "CBS This Morning" to discuss why they were inspired to start the company and how they developed their new line.

Love that they avoided China. Assembled in a free world country like Korea and managed to keep price reasonable.

Alfredo Alcantar yet the price is on par with adidas and Nike, they also are using more premium materials and really trying to be friendly to the environment.

@@Loulydollx3It is not that you cannot make fair wear bussiness in China. It is just that since unions are weaker there is bigger possibility of abusing workers rights but honestly there are sweatshops in UK. Yup Bohoo relies on sweatshops and their clothes are full of toxines like heavy metals and phtalanes.

why don't they make shoes that don't need laces. My hands can't do laces. The shoes are probably way too expensive for me anyway.
