- Well if you've been following us for awhile you know that we've been looking for a project boat and its taken us 7 months to find it! We weren't interested in getting into a huge boat project we just want to fix one up so that we all could start enjoying the water. We didn't want a boat that had a rotten floor or transom cause then it would be months before we could get on the water. See we help our clients get back on the water every day and we decided that we wanted to start relaxing a little more ourselves .... we'll see how this works out!
Watch as our team of experts meticulously assess, disassemble and restore the these boat/yacht projects. Join us in our journey to prove that with hard work, dedication and a little bit of magic, anything is possible. Don't forget the best compliment is to leave a comment and subscribe to our channel for more incredible boat projects!

Hi Bill thanks for stopping by … 👍
I love your videos so much that I wish they were longer... I get the whole gotta be longer than 10min thing but please make them longer. Watching your videos is like watching a good old TV show, but for only 10 minutes... 10 minutes is not long enough!
Thanks for the compliment… we want to do good quality too! Remember this is just a side hustle to show our daily life in business! It’s not always easy…. We hope to increase more videos in the future. We just hired a young guy to help & learn…. Stay tuned! Appreciate you!
@@WillFixThat totally understand... You guys are awesome! 😉
@@SteeledJester thanks for sharing we appreciate it! Stay tuned we are evolving 🤣
@@WillFixThat looking forward to every episode! 😉😎
Sweet getting new project boat! Can't wait to watch the episodes! 👍👍
Yes a work in progress .... no real plan just flying by the seat of our pants! Life short my as well try and have some fun.
@@WillFixThat 👍👍
not keeping that 2002 motor. lol says my 1992 evinrude
70 2 stroke wile i'm doing 40 across the lake. lol
love watching you guys thx for the great content
Thanks for watching…. We don’t want to spend our time fixing our boat since we have customers waiting! One and done for awhile … otherwise it’s going to be a chore which makes it not enjoyable for us! We will all see soon … here on the channel.
We must to crazy SO what are we going to name this little piece of relaxation?
What we think we might use it for fishing, relaxing, sandbars, drone flights both in and out of the water, maybe catching some lobster ... I'm sure you get the idea!
I love my Mercury ProXS 115. I would replace that front wheel jack and the wheel bearings for starters. I like Bimini tops vice T tops, but I notice in Florida T tops are all the rage. You are the man when it comes to electronics, but you'd be surprised what you can do with Mercury Vessel view and a navigation app. Good luck. Keep us posted on the progress.
Well the progress so far is the trailer & boat are all tore apart … 🤣 hope to finish the trailer this week to get the boat out of the boatyard! Trailer needed more than we expected once we got the boat off it! More to come ….
I have that exact motor. Runs great always starts.
I hope it starts its brand new 😂
Good going! 😄
It's all torn apart now ... hopefully we'll use it! Time will tell in the near future.
I own it's big brother for the last 15yrs .... 02 26' 250hp Johnson, Polar badged as a Fish Master. Same mold from the rear. Center Console, flip rear seats, rails ect all the same just longer. Been a great boat for me and the family. I have full cushions for all the decks on mine which converts it into a pleasure boat in about 5 mins. Mine likes to "slide" on sharp turns so make sure you check that issue out on your boat. Hope you wrap and show the details of wrapping as i plan to do it this fall. Subscribed and liked (P.S. LOVE the keys ..... either Keys or Fort Morgan AL will be our retire spot in 5yrs)
Nice any other tips? We just put the keys in it last week! We tested nothing before we bought it cause we knew it needed updating for us to see it! Thanks for watching and sharing! The Keys are great but as you know can be expensive living on an island!
Good Luck! I bought same boat- 1910bb "travis marine" edition earlier this year. love it so far . can't wait to see what you do- @@WillFixThat
@@shineboxindustries do you have some good ideas for us? We don’t have anything set in stone 😂
Gps trolling, couple of bean bags, and it is fun and versatile definitely is short on cup holders and accessible storage / I’ll probably will add glove box at console. Looks like you have Recessed tackle box in bow This is mine last week. czcams.com/users/shorts3wDC-CBhwi0?feature=share
Nice little boat.
Thanks we hope to have fun! We will see …
Nice temp fix on the ac unit! 👍👍
Yup now see if it holds!
@@WillFixThat 👍👍
Good boat to run around with.
That's what we are hoping for .... we will see how much we use it! We are even hoping to keep it sometimes behind our house to make it even easier for us! We ALL will see very shortly 😁
If the current motor runs I'd do a sea trial first and then go from there. Graphics can always be added later. The important things, as you already know, is to make it reliable and safe on open water. New engine = $20,000
We’ll stay tuned 🤣 we didn’t put the keys in it so we will see what we discover along the way! Don’t do as we do! We knew it needed everything so we didn’t bother testing it!
We just tested the current motor it did start but not something we are going to risk! See this is our line of business we see broken dreams all the time! So I told Matt we need to make our boat maintenance free for awhile so we aren’t always fixing our project!
good luck with the project
Yup work in progress Tim … flying by the seat of our pants with no real plan! Just hoping we use it!
Nice project boat definitely has potential. Keep the Bimini top in case it rains.
We need the Bimini for the shade! 🥵
From the reflection of your okleys you were talking to yourself. 3:18
The owner didn't want to be on camera he was on the other side of the boat.
I have that same boat but the 22ft model got mine with 200hp mercury for 3000$ also gonna be restoring and posting on CZcams
Super cool …. 👍 you got a good deal if the floor & transom are solid.
The project boat is small. It will be a fun and easy.
Yes small but mighty 🤣 first we have to see if we will use it! See when you work on boats everyday your not so inclined to go on a boat when you are off and not working! We will all see soon enough! 😁
@@WillFixThat I feel you on that. I work on aircraft and NEVER want to see or be on one when off work.
@@DrEd-th2lu exactly… Matt use to work on aircraft & we have a video coming soon … he recently went and was the co-pilot with a friend of ours! On days off we stay off boats 😂
Lol I just picked up a 1991 sea-lion viper 190 center console with a 1990 yamaha 85 hp 2 stroke on it and it starts right on up and dosent even smoke and I just started my career as a boat mechanic I switched from diesels and airport equipment to boats lol
Well we got ours started too …. But need a new one. Good luck with career change.
@WillFixThat thank you very much I hope it will be a great change for me
@WillFixThat well here at my new shop we have a boat from ft. Myers that was taken out by the hurricane
@@honeybunbandit1 what needs to be done to it? Did it sink?
@WillFixThat it tore up the hull so it's getting fiberglass repairs and paint I guess it washed up on shore like 12 miles away from where it's usually docked
Let the shop folks have access..new engine, wax, electronics and T-top (more height for antenna), grease bearings on trailer. I sold my Pursuit Offshore 26 1 June 2023. Don't miss the 7-8 hour drive to the Keys..traffic horrific. Cheers to all...RH
Agree traffic is crazy! Yes we have to figure out how our guys can have access cause right now it has to be in our personal name so we have the liability 🥴
"Motors from 2002 I'm pretty sure we're not keeping that" hate to break it to you but that outboard right there is gonna last even longer then a 2023 haha
We got it started it sounded pretty rough granted it had been sitting for awhile.
Great video as usual. I’m not to far north of you and interested in the old motor for our older Aquasport.
I think we already have someone here that wants it …. I’ll find out! But ask me again in about a week.
Hi Harvey... this motor is available if your interested! We got it started but it may not shift ... we are taking it off the boat asap. We got our new motor on order. Let us know your thoughts. We have video of it running that I can show you its our next episode.
Hi Harvey I didn't hear back from you about the motor in our last video you can see it running if your still interested!
Start wearing a bandana that always helped me.
We bought those neck cool things & we put ice in them and let it melt! They do help!
My wife just bought a neck device also but it has mini fans in it. Been using it up here in NY and it helps.
@@scottmaz4063 is it bulky?
Not at all its narrow
@@scottmaz4063 ok I’m interested… what are you wearing around your neck?
Should I total my center console cause it needs new engine or pay for engine swap?
That’s kind of a hard question cause it depends on the condition of your boat! IF you have a solid transom & deck …. Matt would probably say swap the motors! We looked for 7 months for this little boat many we looked at we not in good shape. We worked on a boat a few months ago that we discovered had a rotten deck & they already put $100k into before we got it! We told them sell the boat. How old is your boat?
You need a runner with a headset, knowledge and experience…. Wait, you need a clone!
We could prolly use 5 clones … please send them soon!
thought you would need a little larger boat....
What makes you think that?
Looks like it has good bones.
Yes better then any others we looked at …. We didn’t want to do a big major over all! This still has plenty that needs to be done but has a solid hull.
@@WillFixThat What were you thinking for Engine? 300HP?
@@michaellabombard9507 300hp probably isn’t safe … more like 175-200 and thats pushing it 🤣 … remember I have to try & hold on if Matt’s driving! If it was safe I’d get strapped in a seat.
140 suzuki
Think we are looking at 175 now or 200 we will see … 👍
Wrap and sink…lol….nooo clean it up replace motor..150 yamaha
We don’t plan on sinking it on purpose… lol we did buy 4 new life jackets already! Yes motor is a must … we did get it started!
Uh, “project” boats don’t have covers. 😊 I would second the T-top.
Well this one had a cover since it was sitting in a storage lot! It is a project … it needs an update.
Wet sand/ buff and wax wrap would be too much. Newer power and electronics, pack the bearings and let it go.
Yes we may wet sand & wax just depends if the gelcoat is thin or not! All new electronics, batteries, motor, lights, thru-hulls …. Maybe underwater lights!
@@WillFixThat underwater lights would be a waste of money on that boat. You’ll never get the money back even the best ones fail something else to break and maintain.
@@captpepin your right about breaking and maintaining… believe me we’ve repaired, replaced a few too many lights!
keep the motor, why not.. don't waste money
Well we did get it started but … we need something we know we can depend on OR else we aren’t going to enjoy it! This is supposed to be a fun experience not like all the boats we fix!
