  • Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp previewed his side’s Sunday afternoon Premier League clash with Crystal Palace following the Reds’ shock 3-0 Thursday evening defeat to Atalanta in the UEFA Europa League.
Klopp’s men will have the chance to put some pressure onto Arsenal if they beat their opponents on Sunday, with the Gunners playing Aston Villa later in the day.
If Manchester City beat Luton Town on Saturday, then they will rise to the top of the table with a two-point lead over both Liverpool and Arsenal with both of those teams to play one day later.
Klopp will be expecting a reaction from his players after they were stunned by Atalanta at Anfield on Thursday, losing by three goals in the first leg of the quarter final match.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola faced the media on Friday ahead of Saturday's home game against Luton Town in the Premier League.
Guardiola’s side could return to the top of the table for the first time since November with a win over Luton, as title rivals Liverpool and Arsenal - who are both currently a point above City - don't play until Sunday.
Midfielder Rodri has admitted that he was tired after Tuesday's 3-3 draw at Real Madrid, and Guardiola is expected to make some changes to the side that started the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has joked that he doesn’t want to see the leaders of the English Premier League change again this season after learning that the top spot has switched eighteen times so far this campaign.
The Gunners lead the English Premier League on goal difference, with one point separating the top three, and the 42-year-old is seven games away from being the first manager in twenty years to bring the title to the north London club.
But Arteta won’t allow himself to dream of lifting the Premier League trophy on May 19th with Arsenal having led the league a record 248 days last season before a late collapse handed the title to Manchester City.
This Sunday the Gunners host Champions League-chasing Aston Villa, who sit fifth, but play after their title rivals Manchester City and Liverpool.
Arteta’s side battled back from a 2-1 down at the Emirates to get a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday and travel to Bavaria after the Villa game for the crucial second leg of their quarter-final tie.
