Not only are we leaving the country for the very first time EVER, but we are going to be living on a private yatch in the Bahamas and we couldn't be more excited! (yes we have visited other countries via a cruise ship, but this is a brand new adventure type for us--we even got our passports stamped for the first time!)

The plane flown was ATR 72-600 turboprop, manufactured by ATR (Avions de transport régional).

This much more older than the Bombardier Q400s.

That aircraft was ATR 72. I have been on those many times in Europe! They are my favorite types of planes. You guys sure have the best times in life. Wish I was in the Bahamas! :)

Thought the whole point, was ti get food in the us so you dident have to get it in the Bahamas.😅
We did bring some food to save money but our suitcase had a weight limit so we were bound by that.

500.00 in the grocery store and y’all are only Mac and cheese with chicken 😮
The $500 was for 5 days of food, so $100 per day. For a family of 9 and the captain & cook, that's more reasonable.
But even if their up for it i would have to be on a plane for 10 hours because i live in iraq

We drove through SD once or twice when we were first married. We were too cheap to pay the $8 entrance fee to Mt. Rushmore so we just took pictures from the highway...blurry pictures lol
