इतिहास के बारे में बात करते वक़्त उसी समय को ध्यान में रखना पड़ता है न कि उसके सौ साल बाद किताब लिखते वक़्त वर्तमान समय के हालातों के आधार पर। ये बिल्कुल वैसा ही है जैसे एक व्यक्ति का अपनी जायदाद को दो बेटों में बांटते समय ये कहा जाना कि जो गाँव का मकान लेगा उसे शहर वाला मकान और दुकान नहीं मिलेगी और शहर में लेने वाले को गाँव की ज़मीन और मकान नहीं मिलेगी और इस तरह से जायदाद बाँट दी जाती है और छोटा बेटा शहर का मकान और दुकान ले लेता है। उसके 70 साल बाद गाँव की जमीन हाई वे पर आ गयी उसके रेट बढ़ जाते हैं। तो छोटे बेटे का बेटा अपने दादे पर इल्ज़ाम लगाने लगता है कि दादा जी ने जायदाद सही तरीके से नहीं बांटी, धोख़ा किया😂😂, अब आप बताइए इसमें दादा जी कहाँ ग़लत हुए। इसी तरह वर्तमान समय के हालात के लिए नेहरू जी को ज़िम्मेदार कैसे बनाया जा सकता है?

सवाल ट्रिकी था। नेहरू को विश्व राजनय की समझ थी। यह सवाल, यूएन का भारत को फार्मल प्रपोजल नही था। यह सवाल, यूनाइटेड स्टेटस ऑफ अमेरिका का रिपब्लिक ऑफ इंडिया को फार्मल प्रपोजल नही था। यह एक शाम आइजनहॉवर, नेहरू से पूछ रहे थे। यह ट्रैप हो सकता था। ट्रैप, कोल्ड वार की राजनीति में भारत को अमेरिकी खेमे में खींचने का। इसके बाद स्टॅलिन का रशिया भारत का दुश्मन हो जाएगा, माओ का चीन भारत का दुश्मन हो जाएगा, गुटनिरपेक्ष बिखर जाएगा। अमरीका अके ले भारत को परमानेंट सीट दिला नही सकता। उसे दूसरे देशों की मदद की जरूरत होती। भारत चीन की जगह आये, यह रूस, चीन और दुनिया के उनके दूसरे समर्थक होने नही देते। तो चीन की जगह आने के विकल्प में रूस का वीटो लाजमी था। एक पड़ोसी, जिससे बार्डर में नखरे चल ही रहे थे (1953 में अक्साई चिन की एक सड़क पर भारत के प्रोटेस्ट के अलावे कोई मसला पेंडिंग नही था) उससे खुली दुश्मनी, और कम्युनिस्ट ब्लॉक के सारे देशों की दुश्मनी। खाया पिया कुछ नही, गिलास फोड़ा बारह आना। अब दूसरा यह रास्ता था, की भारत वीटो पावर के साथ, छठवें देश के रूप में क्लब जॉइन करे। मगर यूएन चार्टर में बदलाव करना पड़ता। नेहरू ने आइजनहॉवर से पूछा- यूएन के चार्टर में बदलाव होने की क्या सम्भावना है? आइजनहॉवर ने कहा- फिलहाल कोई सम्भावना नही। - नेहरू में ज्योतिरादित्य से अधिक अक्ल थी। मुस्कुराकर आइजनहॉवर की खाली पीली गप को मना कर दिया। यह किस्सा अंग्रेजी में कई इतिहासकारों और लेखकों ने लिखा जिसमे शशि थरूर भी शामिल है। अंग्रेजी में लिखा होने के कारण, च्यांग को किसी प्रकार की काई का शेक समझने वाले भक्तों ने एक ही लाइन पकड़ ली -"नेहरू ने चीन को परमानेंट सीट दिला दी" उनके लिए किस्सा हिंदी में लिखा है। रही च्यांग काई शेक की, तो साहब 1974 तक जिये। ताइवान के फादर माने जाते है। अपने विरुद में खुद को पूरे चीन का शासक बताते रहे। पहले माओ मरे, फिर शेक। उनके मरने के बाद चीन को चीन की सीट बाइज्जत दे दी गयी। यह नेहरू के मरने के 12 साल बाद हुआ। #पूर्वजन्म_की_पोस्ट

Nehru had to make agreement with China on Tibet, Nehru introduced Panchsheel - a code of conduct to rope in China in good conduct, Mao also acknowledged this, there is documentary evidence. India was dirt poor, fighting communist insurgency at home, people had to be lifted out of poverty to thwart communism. No money, for foreign exchange. In 1959 Nehru asked for Rs 100 crores to buy arms, JP Kriplani blocked with unrealistic thinking that it would violate the soul of the Father of the Nation. Nehru tried to do give and take with Chou En Lai, who kept doing somersaults, Nehru's cabinet did not co-operate, press which was free then, went jingoistic. In 1954 and in 1957, after the Tibet agreement, Chou is on record saying the border issue was settled and then in 1959 suddenly said the entire border was up for negotiations. Read this book as a critic on Nehru. Might be a good book to know few odd specific aspects of Nehru and a few decisions he took as PM. तो चीन की जगह आने के विकल्प में रूस का वीटो लाजमी था। एक पड़ोसी, जिससे बार्डर में नखरे चल ही रहे थे (1953 में अक्साई चिन की एक सड़क पर भारत के प्रोटेस्ट के अलावे कोई मसला पेंडिंग नही था) उससे खुली दुश्मनी, और कम्युनिस्ट ब्लॉक के सारे देशों की दुश्मनी। खाया पिया कुछ नही, गिलास फोड़ा बारह आना।
अब दूसरा यह रास्ता था, की भारत वीटो पावर के साथ, छठवें देश के रूप में क्लब जॉइन करे। मगर यूएन चार्टर में बदलाव करना पड़ता। नेहरू ने आइजनहॉवर से पूछा- यूएन के चार्टर में बदलाव होने की क्या सम्भावना है?
आइजनहॉवर ने कहा- फिलहाल कोई सम्भावना नही।

नेहरू में ज्योतिरादित्य से अधिक अक्ल थी। मुस्कुराकर आइजनहॉवर की खाली पीली गप को मना कर दिया। यह किस्सा अंग्रेजी में कई इतिहासकारों और लेखकों ने लिखा जिसमे शशि थरूर भी शामिल है।
अंग्रेजी में लिखा होने के कारण, च्यांग को किसी प्रकार की काई का शेक समझने वाले भक्तों ने एक ही लाइन पकड़ ली -"नेहरू ने चीन को परमानेंट सीट दिला दी"
उनके लिए किस्सा हिंदी में लिखा है। रही च्यांग काई शेक की, तो साहब 1974 तक जिये। ताइवान के फादर माने जाते है। अपने विरुद में खुद को पूरे चीन का शासक बताते रहे। पहले माओ मरे, फिर शेक। उनके मरने के बाद चीन को चीन की सीट बाइज्जत दे दी गयी। यह नेहरू के मरने के 12 साल बाद हुआ।

These letters are in the Indian Archives, do not be surprised if this government has destroyed them. Tibet was an autonomous part of China brought into India by the British arbitrarily when there was chaos in China. Britain also acknowledged suzerainity of China over Tibet. UK and US too acknowledged the same, there are documents to prove this. UK and US refused to give any military aid to India if India did something in Tibet.
Nehru had to make agreement with China on Tibet, Nehru introduced Panchsheel - a code of conduct to rope in China in good conduct, Mao also acknowledged this, there is documentary evidence.
India was dirt poor, fighting communist insurgency at home, people had to be lifted out of poverty to thwart communism. No money, for foreign exchange. In 1959 Nehru asked for Rs 100 crores to buy arms, JP Kriplani blocked with unrealistic thinking that it would violate the soul of the Father of the Nation.
