Dunno why they say this series sucks..yes tomb raider legend and anniversary were epic but this series is as epic as those games
Edit: yes..i know everyone misses the old games for the sassy,dual-wielding lara and puzzles and tombs but perhaps in the next game she'll get better and less of whiny girl
@@rosabeltabares8065 I totally agree. Yes, the old TR games are forever in my heart, I love them very much, especially the Underworld, but reboot I also love
if the writing is in the same vein as in Shadow then I hope we don't. The story had no sens of urgency though it was supposed to be the end of the world, characters had barely any flavor to them and Lara didn't learn anything that she should have earned. That and the villains were meh. Even Matthias felt like more of a threat.
@@axelsmith4722 your right about the characters...the characters are dull like they just exist for the sake of making Lara cooler...Dominiguez wasnt threatening as Konstantin or Mathias because Lara was very important to him
I love the original Tomb Raider games. But damn these new ones really made me love Lara all over again.
This is one of the coolest GMVs I've seen for the Tomb Raider reboot. Such a good series too, I love that it breathed some actual life and character into Lara Croft

this is the greatest music video of tomb raider I have ever seen. love how it goes from lara losing roth (feeling sad and hopeless) to finding her inner strength, to bashing and kicking the bad guys, then the back to back pistol scenes at 2:03.GOD DAYUM this music vid is just too cool!~

Outstanding choice of music and wonderful editing (gave me goosebumps). This plays out like one of those movie trailers that has you counting the days until the movie comes out. I didn't play the first in the series and it seems they used a different model for Lara in that one. I'm not sure I can go back and play it after RotTR and SotTR because I'm so completely taken by this new Lara Croft. While her abilities border on the superhuman at times the character itself is perfect. Lara is perfect because she's not perfect, she's kind and has good intentions but becomes blinded at times by her unstoppable drive and ambition. She shows compassion and empathy one moment and lets her rage take her in others. The character model is beautiful, no stunning, and the facial animations and body language are amazing. I find myself smiling when she smiles and my heart aches when she hurts. The voice acting is top knotch as well. I might be slightly in love with a video game character, lol. Thanks for making this amazing video and thanks to Crystal Dynamics and everyone who played a part in this great series. Games like this remind me that this is truly art and I hope that others see that epic single player games aren't a thing of the past.

Konstantin trully did threaten Lara in more than one way because I have a theory that she would have ended up the same as him had Ana gotten through to her and made her part of Trinity.
