Go nuts is about Da Funk for me, Burnin' is go psycho, on work those are not my style I shake my head too much :). I always wonder if they had good treatment for that kind of sickness, anyways how bad could a walkman be?
Imagine being in 97 and discovering daft punk while dancing in a club! I remember my dad bringing the cd home and he was so happy about it. Now we're almost 30 years after and it stayed with us!
I still remember buying this when i was 17 , 2 weeks later i bought my first synth, a yamaha djx, a year later i bought the mc 303 and started my journey in making electronic music. thanks to Daft punk, the chemical brothers, Cassius, fatboyslim and early prodigy now im 43 and ive play at music festivals in the summer. Long live french house!
Some of the transitions are so smooth, you could have told me Burnin' and Indo Silver Club were one song, and I would have 100% believed you. Thank God Daft Punk were around in our time! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
It is a good album. I had it but I suspect my best friend stole this because I saw this album on his shelf. I got the urge to steal it back but I confort him and he throw me out. So I was right. We are no longer friends

My boy, we're still friends. Did that with a Mix tape i had. 10 years later I was at his house and saw it and was like "you never gave that back to me??". I took it and played it till it broke.
Because it's a Masterpiece. They recorded it in their bedroom and sold 30 millon copies. An unique take on electronic music at the time, from social protest to radio hits.
I remember listening to the entire album driving around in my celica w the cd player adapter on anti slip, blasting the whole thing all over town. Ahh high achool, to be young.
I have been listening to these songs with my dad since i was born, now, i'm 16 and its still in my earplugs, i grew up with Daft punk and i'm really proud of it, people of my age always listen to some flavourless drill shit, it makes me so sad, they dont know what *real* music is.
I'm over 40 now and I try to show my kids different genres of music from different years. A lot of the music nowadays is covers of songs from my youth, so I show them the originals and they often like them better.
@@gretzkyayr Yeah i see what you mean, music (in general) nowadays is making me a bit sad because we dont see real good music, everything is the same, its boring

A mí me voló la cabeza revolution 909, un instrumento con que se hacía (y se hace) mucho techno, resultado me encanta el techno gracias a esta influencia. Pero si, el álbum es más pop y house que otra cosa.

Listening to this in isolation honestly feels like the wrong way to listen to Homework. I feel you have to put this on in its intended setting, late at night at a rave or party while drunk and partying. At least that's how I believe House music is to be consumed
i can't believe he made 4 studio albums and they dipped like cooking french fries and chicken nuggets since lmfao wasn't a one hit wonder even party rock anthem is the biggest hit song from 2011 and they went solo career in 2015
