Woah... She doesn't mind cultured art of her, she doesn't care about being called "Dad" and doesn't care about being shipped with someone. That's some rare true madlad energy right there.
Well, she's a foreigner in a very racist country, so... you sorta got to be able to take stuff. And she also worked in the service industry to get here. She knows the chat is just teasing her in good nature though, there's no really negative implications toward her on their bantering other than backseaters.
Welp, being accepting and doesn't care are two different things. That's all I can say about it. Just don't annoy too much. That's the message what I heard in the clip.
Calli has thicker skin than people give her credit for, but she is def clear on when some ish should be *left at the door*. And also yes, be creative on your jokes everybody- "ha dad left for the milk" can only be funny a certain few thousand times. Good clip Rav.
My takeaway is she doesn't care, just don't go around annoying people with it... And try not to overuse the joke. There aren't many jokes that actually annoy me, and neither of these are among them, but overuse is certainly an issue.

Because there's so much potential for new jokes to come in" Literally the damn whole community: MAKES THE SAME POV FORMAT JOKE TO MAKE EVERY SINGLE ONE I'M SO SICK OF SEEING THE "ME: DoEs SoMeThInG" BULLSHIT I WANT TO DIE
I see what you did there haha But yeah that format is so damn annoying now, most of them is the exact one to one lines from the video as well, and there's so many of them, it's so hard to find any sort of actual comments
@@byird7459 yeah, I mean in the beginning it was fine, I used it as well, but hell this community likes to hang on to memes like forever until the jokes are awfully burnt out. And yet they still keep making them
The fun part about the Dad meme isn't joining in with it, it's pissing off the people to take that meme seriously and gets offended when someone doesn't follow it.
I’m glad Calli can just roll with the jokes the “Dad” and “TakaMori” jokes do get a little overused sometimes especially for me personally because I don’t ship TakaMori I view the dynamic as close friends fooling around with each other than anything romantic which is what it’s like in real life that’s really cool It’s nice that they can fool around like that and not have it ruin their friendship They’re like sisters to me I guess and it sucks when you receive so much backlash for not liking said jokes but I’m glad that Mori just wants us to have fun at the end of the day.
i dont really do shipping with vtubers since theres someone behind the camera and idk its just weird, especially shipping friends when they arent interested in each other as far as we know
I wonder if people are bothered by it because sometimes she seems to react negatively toward it, not realizing it's a bit? I mean, I kinda take what they say -- outside of lore and the context of a game -- at face value, so I didn't know until watching this clip that she was actually fine with it. I'm personally not going to jump at the chance to make the joke either way, but it's good to know it doesn't bother her as much as it sometimes seems.
People constantly mentioning Kiara/takamori stuff in her chat is part of why I stopped watching her streams. I really dislike shipping in general but I also realize that I'm just one person and many more seem to want to do that. So instead of putting a damper on other peoples fun I just left.
SAME TO ME, WHENEVER CALLI INTERACTS WITH ANYONE, KIARA IS MENTIONED ON THE CHAT, IT'S SO ANOYING, BUT I THINK THERE ARE MANY THAT LIKE THIS SHIP FOR SOME REASON, SO WHATEVER I JUST IGNORE NOW LOL. edit : sorry for the caps.
takamori doesn't really feel like a ship, it's more like a coupling, which is used more in the jp side, and it's just referring to the dynamic between 2, the "ship" is still mentioned sometimes but i don't really see any shipping energy at all because they are already closer than we know and they are also playing along with the joke, there isn't really anything to ship If you treat it more like a coupling then maybe you can enjoy it as well, tho I've been visiting their streams every now and then and I don't really see a lot of that unless they're talking to or about each other
It's from one of the Omori episodes. I think it was 3? The audio was put together by me layering the different parts Mori sung/hummed. The video is from the recycling section of that VOD, iirc.
Fan has different way to enjoy the show as long as you don't try to pushing it on other than it fine. Sometimes , here dude always forgot and carry away on joke made them over used is....meh.

I mean she’s not real so why would she care? It’s not like it’s art of her real self or insults at her real self lol.

I never really saw “Dad”’as an overused joke cause it’s more of an endearing nickname imo, seems like Calli is pretty neutral towards it tho lmao.
Her opinion on going into new territory instead of using the same joke over and over is how she really feels about it. She's easy to read.
Classy, Appropriate(when the time is right) Jokes
They're funnier and probably more tolerable that way
My takeaway is she doesn't care, just don't go around annoying people with it... And try not to overuse the joke. There aren't many jokes that actually annoy me, and neither of these are among them, but overuse is certainly an issue.

cali is dad, more of a dad than mine. cali will always be dad

Yeah, that's also my take on Takamori. Kiara being the little annoying sister and Calli the older sister not wanting to be ridiculed before everyone.

A meme that isn't funny and doesn't even make sense, I'm surprised it lasted until today
The dad thing makes sense. Calli read "My Dad Is The Queen of All Vtubers." Both she and her audience drew a ton of parallels.
