I am really shocked by the passive aggressiveness from these JWs. They claim to be there to teach about the Bible yet when you bring up the Bible they try to silence you. If they truly believed they are serving the true God why be afraid by simple questions? Why stand outside “witnessing” when you don’t want to have a conversation about your beliefs?
When I became a JW in 1978 the majority looked forward to people asking questions, whyen difficult ones. Nowadays the majority won't get into anything but simple questioning. Since I went to my last JW meeting in 2016 I understand they have become less willing to discuss the Bible. A non JW has to remember that virtually all JW's have no or virtually no understanding of the Bible. A good video.

One time a Jehovah Witnesses cut our Convo short because he had an appointment with my neighbor, and I told them I'll tag along with them, I even called my neighbor and he was fine with it, that was the last day my neighbor and I saw those JWs 😢
And what do you think that meant? If your purpose was to argue or try and trick the JWs at your door with twisted words I would not come back either. The people we are looking for are the ones with the right heart condition that has God's spirit.

Yes, when our Christian brother revealed being a Christian from Iran, this ought to have been an enormous encouragement to them. Their world is sadly very small and uninformed. They wouldn't even be allowed to research the Muslim faith.
I think ex-Muslim Christians are amongst some of the best people to preach to JWs, because there are many similar arguments that need to be addressed, ie: Christ's divinity, works based salvation etc
They once came to my door and wanted "to talk about the Bible". I told them I studied theology and I'd be pleased to talk about the Bible. They never showed up again 😂.
I once got a random letter from some people that I do not know, it was a hand written letter on Jehovah witness paper telling me that they wanted to study the Bible with me. There was no phone number or anything, just a return address. So I wrote a letter to their address and told them that I was more than willing to study the Bible and very eager. I said under one condition though, we have to study from the new king James Bible. I never heard from them again. So sad.

This man has no concept of Context. 2 questions: What is God the First and Last of in Isaiah? What is Jesus the First and Last of in Revelation? The Bible is studied for them. They are given the watchtower with the interpretations of what the Bible means and tha tis what they study. That is why they always refer you to their website that is where they draw their answer from. It's not from prayer and fasting and having personal scriptural study.

The father son and the Holy Spirit are united as one even though they are three different. They are God the father, God the son God, God the Holy Spirit. What’s so hard about that question? You have to remember also, that Jesus when he was born a baby from Mary, he was born in his humanity. He relied upon the father, having the faith in the father to do everything. The relationship was an example of the bond that Jesus wants us to have with he and the father. The Jews killed him because they were angry that he called himself God. They were angry at what they said was blasphemy! Jesus did not deny being the Christ. The Jews told him that only God can forgive sins. Jesus forgave sins. People that reject him as God are no different than the people who crucified him. The only way to the fathers is through the son. We must accept him as our Lord and Savior which makes him a God. Sadly so Jehova witnesses knocked on my door I told them I'm A Born Again Christian, they never knocked again. I spoke to them as I was lead by The Holy Spirit. They kept opening other books and they tend to do that a lot, it's like they are programmed a certain way through the Watch tower.

It's interesting, I've never heard of a Christian shying away from a Biblical debate or question or being passive aggressive when answering Biblical questions. Street preachers are so happy to discuss the Bible and answer questions. Her saying "I'm not a walking encyclopedia so I'd have to do my own research." Is such a strange thing for someone preaching on the streets to say. It's like what are you there for then? They clearly don't know the scriptures either.

Interestingly I have listened carefully to these videos and have spent many many Hours pondering the points raised and have not found one of his questions that can't be answered satisfyingly. It's really strengthened my faith.

I was raised a JW. Thankfully, I came to salvation at the age of 25, and was completely shunned by everyone I knew (all friends, family), except for 1 cousin. They don't have joy, they don't praise the Lord, they don't rejoice in anyone's conversion from darkness other than JWs coming to "their truth" in Jehovah. Anyone who is not JW, they believe are in darkness. They are bound by this organization and don't even know it. They need to complete certain witnessing acts and a certain number of monthly hours are required or they get "counseling" for not doing so. Its such a brainwashing. Most JWs will not engage with any Christians unless they're non-confrontational, they will not pray with you or allow you to pray for them. They're trained to bring people to the truth and not to challenge the scriptures and dont truly understand scriptures or read them. They only read scriptures that are references in their literature and never the Bible alone. They depend on the literature to understand the bible, which is in their teachings too difficult to understand without their literature. They know the bible is the word of God but its only used as a reference. They will not return your calls if you're interested in confrontation or deep discussions. Their "bible" has been changed several times and this alone has caused confusion and division amongst them. Most times, they don't even know what other bibles say and get defensive when you bring up topics they're not comfortable trained on or if proven wrong. They're not open to critical thinking outside of JW magazines, books, or their organization material and commentaries.

@@rhondahart2416 the bible changes cause every time we have more success in determine which scriptures are the originals. in germany exist a project where 5000 rolls are traduced by 3 different scientists and put in a computer which finds changes to other rolls, so they find out which are copies with changes, and which could be the original. you poeple who believe in the "bible" are fixed in vatican version made to set up a church which wants power, catholic bible isn´t exact like the original, and many (old) bibles are based on the catholic version. so it´s not a question of changing, but coming back to the original.

Hey brother, are you in Ottawa? We are near Ottawa. We were raised as Jehovahs witnesses, my husband and I. We started reading the Bible during lockdowns and it completely changed us. We relate to how you were persecuted by friends and family. We were shunned by all people we knew, family and friends, for saying Jesus is the Truth and not an organization. My husbands boss was an elder; he fired him. We had to sell our house and rent instead. We are extremely passionate about trying to evangelize JWs even though they really can become hostile and aggressive. Thank you for speaking to these women! We refuse to give up either. No matter how you approach them, they ALWAYS shut down because they are in such a deceptive and controlling cult and have no truth. But God saved us, as He saved you, and so we will keep trying to talk to them. God bless you, brother! This video made us so happy that others are trying to speak to these poor people. You can see on our channel, we try to speak to them on the phone and also at times go to their conventions to try and start conversations. We love them even though they are hostile and angry. Guy in video asked why they are Jehovah's Witnesses ? That's easy ! God has a name and it is YHWH pronounced Yahweh in Hebrew and translated into English language is at Exodus 6:3 and Psalms 83 :18 God's Son's name is Yeshua and translated into English language is Jesus . I’m an ex JW! Nicely done bro. The best one I found is comparing Hebrews 1:10-12 with Psalm 102:25-28. The writer of Hebrews takes a OT verse about Jehovah and applies it directly to the Son (see verse 8). The best part about it is that it’s cross referenced in their own perverted NWT Bible.

He isn’t . They are . He couldn’t if he tried . JW are the only religion in the world that do this work worldwide and every member of their church participates. They don’t get paid . It’s all voluntary and free. Their website is translated into over 1100 languages . You can’t tell me they achieved this on their own merit. They are doing the lords work. Not even the United Nations website has anywhere close to that much translation . And it was done free because they believe that peoples lives are at stake . True Christian’s do what Jesus did. They don't know. I was one at the age of 26. My wife brought me into the religion. They tell you not to read any other material. I am Christian now but I did have the best Bible study of my life but thank God I could never accept several of their beliefs.

They’re definitely irritated . Not because they see him as demonic but because they know he’s using a Bible that hasn’t even translated the original Greek and Hebrew terms for God properly and so they know why those few scriptures he’s insistent on using seem like Jesus is God when really it’s a poor translation.
I agree , Jehovah 's witnesses are lost sheep who have been misled a lot. It took me a while to help a man to understand the truth, who also had been brainwashed by Jehovah 's Witnesses (a coworker). I helped my fellow coworker (former Jehovah's Witnesses) to understand that Jesus is God and He was not created ( In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.) I dont tell people to go to a certain church, but to pray daily at home and to believe that God is One, knowing that the Father is in the Son and the Son in the Father.(as Jesus said). This means that the same Truth and Holy Spirit is in the Father and in the Son. We 're supposed to guide people towards God, Bible and prayer. God will certainly save us from man made religions if we ask for His daily guidance. @@tongakhan230 Yes, of course. Because "God is One", means God is not divided in His authority and actions. It means that the Father will not do opposite things than the Son. So, if the Father is Truth and the Son is Truth, they both act in One undivided agreement. They dont do opposite things. You quoted 1John 4:12, 20. You probably imply that Jesus was just a man. But If you believe that the Father sent Jesus (as in Isaiah 53 , and Isaiah 9: 6), then you can understand that Jesus was with the Father together as God , as explained in John 1:1. John 14:20 - _At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you._ ...Jesus explains that if He does the will of the Father, then Jesus and the Father are not divided, they have One will, they represent Unity not division, which means God is One. I remember a women J.W. Trying to convince my co workers to become J.w’s, we started talking about Jesus, she said they believed He was a created Angel and I said no! He was the Only begotten son of God, she was so sure, I said in from of others, bring your Bible and show me that and I’ll bring mine, she came the next day and said she’d rather not talk religion at work anymore.

If you have time, can you refer me to a video or possibly make a video on how to best respond to a JW who uses revelation 3:14 as a proof text for Jesus being the first created being. (What is the most accurate translation and interpretation of that verse). Please refrain from other texts that prove Jesus is God, I already use them often and am aware of many... The part where you shared the difficulties you experienced personally and they didn’t care at all - that fully came across. I thought it was awful. Just completely without humanity. Even if you are not religious at all and hear about someone experiencing difficulties and threat of death for questioning their religion - normal humanity kicks in and you feel compassion. They cannot have compassion because they are in a cult - most of their soul is removed or suppressed in order to be in a cult. They are empty, like zombies.

If you take 60 Jehovah Witnesseses and put them in a room, do you know how many would be "righteous" enough to resign with christ based on how many members they have and the limited quota of 144,000? 1. The other 59? They're outta luck. That said, they believe the more converts, the more likely they are statistically to be a chosen person. So when they meet someone firm in their non-JW belief, they have no desire to 'waste' time when they can be earning brownie points converting someone who's never read the Bible and has a firm rooted belief of the contrary to JW belief. That's all to say it's fear that is motivating them, not love. When a typical Christian evangelist shares the gospel, they are doing it in love. Like 1nemind is doing. He isn't afraid that by not sharing the message he will go to hell. He knows whether he does or doesn't has no affect on that. It's in faith, not works. Works are a fruit of faith, faith isn't a fruit of works. JW believe their works will earn them a spot in the 144,000 - That's to say they believe their works (converting) will save them, and that faith alone isn't enough. Jesus makes clear this isn't the case. Apostle Paul as well. If they don't change their ways, they will be denied by Christ because they don't know christ, so Christ won't know them. Jesus lectured the high priests of His time for going all across the land and sea to convert others into false beliefs and went so far as to say their converts were being damned to hell.
JW's. Ever studying, but never coming to the knowledge of the truth. My Aunt is JW. She gives the same answers. Been in 40 years "studying", you would think they could answer off the top of their head, but they always have to "do research". My aunt absolutely cannot just tell me what she basically believes, in her own words. All she can do is look up verses. Like an automated phone menu, certain questions or claims on the part of the person inquiring, are to be met with exact specific "comebacks" Showing them scripture doesn't work. Every difference between what my Bible says, vs what theirs says, is always because my Bible "has errors". They will always say our Bible was the one that changed the verses. I pray for them, because the god of this world has blinded their minds and hearts.

You do realise the watchtower is a Bible based magazine that is designed to be read with YOUR Bible right ? It discusses different every day subjects like “how to have a happy family”, “how to stop smoking “, “why is there so much prejudice in the world” , nature subjects etc … If you were Christian you wouldn’t be scared to compare what they write with your Bible .

They are such hypocrites, they come to your house with rewritten scriptures, but as soon as they encounter someone who is well versed on scripture they shut down any conversation, especially if they can't answer the questions. Angels, both holy and unholy, are refered to as Sons of God in the bible. But not one of them is God (little or big)! God is God. And Jesus is the, "Only Begotten" Son of God, and God! I am really shocked by the passive aggressiveness from these JWs. They claim to be there to teach about the Bible yet when you bring up the Bible they try to silence you. If they truly believed they are serving the true God why be afraid by simple questions? Why stand outside “witnessing” when you don’t want to have a conversation about your beliefs?

When I became a JW in 1978 the majority looked forward to people asking questions, whyen difficult ones. Nowadays the majority won't get into anything but simple questioning. Since I went to my last JW meeting in 2016 I understand they have become less willing to discuss the Bible. A non JW has to remember that virtually all JW's have no or virtually no understanding of the Bible. A good video.

They once came to my door and wanted "to talk about the Bible". I told them I studied theology and I'd be pleased to talk about the Bible. They never showed up again 😂.
I once got a random letter from some people that I do not know, it was a hand written letter on Jehovah witness paper telling me that they wanted to study the Bible with me. There was no phone number or anything, just a return address. So I wrote a letter to their address and told them that I was more than willing to study the Bible and very eager. I said under one condition though, we have to study from the new king James Bible. I never heard from them again. So sad.

The Bible is studied for them. They are given the watchtower with the interpretations of what the Bible means and tha tis what they study. That is why they always refer you to their website that is where they draw their answer from. It's not from prayer and fasting and having personal scriptural study.

The father son and the Holy Spirit are united as one even though they are three different. They are God the father, God the son God, God the Holy Spirit. What’s so hard about that question? Sadly so Jehova witnesses knocked on my door I told them I'm A Born Again Christian, they never knocked again. I spoke to them as I was lead by The Holy Spirit. They kept opening other books and they tend to do that a lot, it's like they are programmed a certain way through the Watch tower.

It's interesting, I've never heard of a Christian shying away from a Biblical debate or question or being passive aggressive when answering Biblical questions. Street preachers are so happy to discuss the Bible and answer questions. Her saying "I'm not a walking encyclopedia so I'd have to do my own research." Is such a strange thing for someone preaching on the streets to say. It's like what are you there for then? They clearly don't know the scriptures either.

I was raised a JW. Thankfully, I came to salvation at the age of 25, and was completely shunned by everyone I knew (all friends, family), except for 1 cousin. They don't have joy, they don't praise the Lord, they don't rejoice in anyone's conversion from darkness other than JWs coming to "their truth" in Jehovah. Anyone who is not JW, they believe are in darkness. They are bound by this organization and don't even know it. They need to complete certain witnessing acts and a certain number of monthly hours are required or they get "counseling" for not doing so. Its such a brainwashing. Most JWs will not engage with any Christians unless they're non-confrontational, they will not pray with you or allow you to pray for them. They're trained to bring people to the truth and not to challenge the scriptures and dont truly understand scriptures or read them. They only read scriptures that are references in their literature and never the Bible alone. They depend on the literature to understand the bible, which is in their teachings too difficult to understand without their literature. They know the bible is the word of God but its only used as a reference. They will not return your calls if you're interested in confrontation or deep discussions. Their "bible" has been changed several times and this alone has caused confusion and division amongst them. Most times, they don't even know what other bibles say and get defensive when you bring up topics they're not comfortable trained on or if proven wrong. They're not open to critical thinking outside of JW magazines, books, or their organization material and commentaries.

Hey brother, are you in Ottawa? We are near Ottawa. We were raised as Jehovahs witnesses, my husband and I. We started reading the Bible during lockdowns and it completely changed us. We relate to how you were persecuted by friends and family. We were shunned by all people we knew, family and friends, for saying Jesus is the Truth and not an organization. My husbands boss was an elder; he fired him. We had to sell our house and rent instead. We are extremely passionate about trying to evangelize JWs even though they really can become hostile and aggressive. Thank you for speaking to these women! We refuse to give up either. No matter how you approach them, they ALWAYS shut down because they are in such a deceptive and controlling cult and have no truth. But God saved us, as He saved you, and so we will keep trying to talk to them. God bless you, brother! This video made us so happy that others are trying to speak to these poor people. You can see on our channel, we try to speak to them on the phone and also at times go to their conventions to try and start conversations. We love them even though they are hostile and angry. The best one I found is comparing Hebrews 1:10-12 with Psalm 102:25-28. The writer of Hebrews takes a OT verse about Jehovah and applies it directly to the Son (see verse 8).

I helped my fellow coworker (former Jehovah's Witnesses) to understand that Jesus is God and He was not created ( In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.) I dont tell people to go to a certain church, but to pray daily at home and to believe that God is One, knowing that the Father is in the Son and the Son in the Father.(as Jesus said). You probably imply that Jesus was just a man. But If you believe that the Father sent Jesus (as in Isaiah 53 , and Isaiah 9: 6), then you can understand that Jesus was with the Father together as God , as explained in John 1:1.
John 14:20 - _At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you._ ...Jesus explains that if He does the will of the Father, then Jesus and the Father are not divided, they have One will, they represent Unity not division, which means God is One.
It also means that if we do the will of Jesus and accept Him as Savior (Son of God) , then we will also become as One with Jesus, by belonging to Him. - WE KNOW THAT GOD TOLD MOSES His name in Exodus 3: 14- I AM WHO I AM. Jesus also explained, while He was in flesh, that His spiritual title from Heaven is not that of an Angel of God , but... I AM (the name of God).
Jesus said in. John 8 : 58: Before Abraham existed , I AM. ~ Please try and find in the Bible if any angels had the name I AM, except for the Father and Jesus. We cannot add things to the Bible.
- SO, (for example) if you're the son of your father Sione Ammamma, then your family name is also Ammamma . BUT if your father is a King , then you as his son, also have a royal authority of a King because you share the same family name (as heir) .
- Both (angels and humans) and Jesus refer to the Father, as "father". But only the Son of God has Kingship to the Throne , as shown in the Bible (Jesus is at the right hand of the Father). And only Jesus has also an eternal essence (nature), like His Father. Too many "coincidences" ( I am the first and the last, the name I AM, Jesus is called Everlasting Father, Mighty God), etc.
- Of course , we will also be Sons and Daughters of our Father, but we have been created (THATS THE DIFFERENCE). So the word Father shows two meanings:
1. the Godly (KINGSHIP) of the Father and Son, and identical eternal nature. The closeness between the Father and HIs Son- Jesus, showing they are as ONE in ruling Their Creation , not divided, as mentioned in John 1:1, Isaiah 48 :12 and Rev 22:13.
2. The word 'father" also shows the relationship between God's creation (His angels and the Humans) and their God (the Father and Son), who created everything together, and nothing that exists was created without them, as mentioned in John 1: 3 . Think of God as a FAMILY NAME, which both share, that carries authority. It's ONE God as shown by the name I AM, that they share, because they are not divided (ONE = meaning undivided in nature and essence).
- If you want, please remember that God is not limited. And we both dont know how God is ETERNAL, because we dont know how can something exist without beginning.
- Only God can have the power to send His Son in flesh to die for us, and then to resurrect to prove He is not just an average man. (IT SHOWS also THE RANKING DIFFERENCE , because the Father is also King, and only the Son sits at His right hand on the Throne).
- You asked: Can God die? But you forget that Jesus came in flesh to die, as the Lamb of God, to pay for sins using His innocent blood. Dying in flesh DOES NOT EQUAL DEATH IN SPIRIT. You missed the meaning of eternal LIFE.
- Only the Blood of Jesus could pay for our sins. Not the blood of an angel, because the angel did not create us. ONLY the Blood of Jesus could make atonement for our sins (for the Original Sin).
- Many verses in the Bible show how Jesus was acknowledged as God.
- It's up to you if you choose to give people erroneous information about Jesus being an angel....because God will ask you " Where did I ever say that Jesus was an angel? "

I remember a women J.W. Trying to convince my co workers to become J.w’s, we started talking about Jesus, she said they believed He was a created Angel and I said no! He was the Only begotten son of God, she was so sure, I said in from of others, bring your Bible and show me that and I’ll bring mine, she came the next day and said she’d rather not talk religion at work anymore.

The part where you shared the difficulties you experienced personally and they didn’t care at all - that fully came across. I thought it was awful. Just completely without humanity. Even if you are not religious at all and hear about someone experiencing difficulties and threat of death for questioning their religion - normal humanity kicks in and you feel compassion. They cannot have compassion because they are in a cult - most of their soul is removed or suppressed in order to be in a cult. They are empty, like zombies.

If you take 60 Jehovah Witnesseses and put them in a room, do you know how many would be "righteous" enough to resign with christ based on how many members they have and the limited quota of 144,000? 1. The other 59? They're outta luck. That said, they believe the more converts, the more likely they are statistically to be a chosen person. So when they meet someone firm in their non-JW belief, they have no desire to 'waste' time when they can be earning brownie points converting someone who's never read the Bible and has a firm rooted belief of the contrary to JW belief. That's all to say it's fear that is motivating them, not love. When a typical Christian evangelist shares the gospel, they are doing it in love. Like 1nemind is doing. He isn't afraid that by not sharing the message he will go to hell. He knows whether he does or doesn't has no affect on that. It's in faith, not works. Works are a fruit of faith, faith isn't a fruit of works. JW believe their works will earn them a spot in the 144,000 - That's to say they believe their works (converting) will save them, and that faith alone isn't enough. Jesus makes clear this isn't the case. Apostle Paul as well. If they don't change their ways, they will be denied by Christ because they don't know christ, so Christ won't know them. Jesus lectured the high priests of His time for going all across the land and sea to convert others into false beliefs and went so far as to say their converts were being damned to hell.

JW's. Ever studying, but never coming to the knowledge of the truth. My Aunt is JW. She gives the same answers. Been in 40 years "studying", you would think they could answer off the top of their head, but they always have to "do research". My aunt absolutely cannot just tell me what she basically believes, in her own words. All she can do is look up verses. Like an automated phone menu, certain questions or claims on the part of the person inquiring, are to be met with exact specific "comebacks" Showing them scripture doesn't work. Every difference between what my Bible says, vs what theirs says, is always because my Bible "has errors". They will always say our Bible was the one that changed the verses. I pray for them, because the god of this world has blinded their minds and hearts.

Jesus was called good, by the rich young ruler, who was Jewish because the Jews only acknowledge GOD as good. You do realise the watchtower is a Bible based magazine that is designed to be read with YOUR Bible right ? It discusses different every day subjects like “how to have a happy family”, “how to stop smoking “, “why is there so much prejudice in the world” , nature subjects etc …

They are such hypocrites, they come to your house with rewritten scriptures, but as soon as they encounter someone who is well versed on scripture they shut down any conversation, especially if they can't answer the questions. They are counting on that most of the homes they go to are not versed on scripture so the devil can work his deception. Jesus continually warns christians on this type of deception. Read Leviticus chapter 16 verses 17,18,19. Then go read Hebrews chapter 9 all but mostly look at verses 12 and 14. It gonna be take righteous blood to satisfy righteous judgment.
