I think they have done their best but the problem is that they didn't focus on the basic foundation of cheer dancing which is trust and coordination. I think they focus more on concept which is good sana if you already mastered the acts like pyramids, formation etc. And as you can see, the performance reflects on their trust with each other. But let's appreciate their effort, from the props and concept.

@@shawnnicolo7445 Lahat naman nagfofocus muna sa basics, kunwari sa sayaw diba may mga basic steps tayo need aralin bago sa pro. Kunwari sa pagluluto, need mo muna magstart magluto ng mga itlog, rice etc. Wala naman nagsisimula agad sa pro level, kahit sa pag aaaral magsimula sa basic education like reading, writing etc.

If Ateneo just did this performance better or even the best version of this they can possibly win. Their choreos and concept is the most unique and beautiful among all the contestants for me. It will look satisfying and beautiful if the nervousness leaves them and they practice more. Still, congrats for making this performance.
Bkt pa kase sila kinakabahan d naman sila pressure na parang sa basketball na need manalo. Underdog nga sila. Well lagi ganyan. Ngayon 2022 may factor na kaya kabado kase unang salang sila opening salvo ng cdc after pandemya
Sorry but even if Ateneo did the best version of this, they will not win. They were not prepared to compete and to win. It is just not the choreography and concept that you mentioned that the judges are looking for; theirs was just average at best minus the points deduction for the mistake after mistake made during the entire performance. You need to look at the difficulty in the routine, the number of tricks or stunts performed, timing and rhythm, originality, spirit, appearance and unity.
Nothing is unique. Yun props lang. Kulang sa practice, umpisa pa lang parang madidisgrasya na yun babae sa gitna.

The amount of comments and “jokes”under this video saying that they simply used MOA as a practice venue is disappointing. Everyone worked hard and practiced their respective routines. Although some performed a cleaner routine it still does not make it right to invalidate the hard work each squad has put into the competition. You speak as if you saw them train going as far as calling them lazy is just disrespectful. Please be considerate of how they would feel after seeing the comments under this post. Like what they always say think before you post learn to differentiate constructive criticism vs. outright disrespect.

It’s not that easy to be in this competition. Let’s just cheer them up . All of them! They did their best and mistakes is not that intentional. Win or lose but trying their best to win is hard but their efforts shows how they keep going no matter what it takes.

I could almost pinpoint the lead lady who stumbled right away and made it consistent up to the finish. To the point when they were forning the pyramid, her nerves got into her that she mindlessly did not put enough strength to that woman who will tumble her way up. As if she gave up already even midway of their performance. What happened?

The previous years was really those have great performances, yung nakaka goosebumps talaga. Yung masasabi mo tlaga na pwede pang tapat sa mga international cheering squad. Siguro nagagawa naman nila yan sa practice with a clean execution pero nahahalata mong nauunahan sila ng kaba and sometimes panicking. ang hirap talaga mag perform live pero if they are not afraid and may puso sa pagperform magagawa nila yan. sobrang disappointed lang ako sa mga namamahala at nangunguna sa larangan ng cheerdance sa school nila na parang hindi na iniisip na mag improved sila. kahit man lang call up sa nakataas para i-assess yung lapses and mistakes and think of positive things to further strengthen the program and make progress ay parang wala!?
Sana ibalik ng Ateneo ung Spunk ng 2009 na 1st runner up sila. No errors, may timing sa tunog, kung Maari short hair ule lahat ng girls ala Dora the explorer tapos magmoonwalk ule. Sila ang orig nakagawa nun. Also don't allow the Kaba factor, be confident, at Sana d sila mahinhin dapat palaban like NU FEU UP. I guess they should start recruiting athletes/cheerdancers from provinces especially from the visayas or mindanao. Because as far as I know most kf the cheerdancers of NU, Adamson, Feu, UE etc... are from those provinces. They should start scouting athletes there. Ganda sana ng routine kung na execute ng maganda.

I feel bad for Ateneo, I'm thinking they really need to work on their Trust as a Team, as I see them perform they barely look at each other after dismounting the flyers regardless if they caught them properly or not, or even just in general. Skills can only start to improve when the team learns how to trust each other fully.

Kung gaano sila kalakas on recruiting A-list players on their basketball and volleyball teams eh pagdating sa sports na ito kabaligtaran ang nangyayari?
