Lol no girl you need to set your ps5 in rest mode, so the portal can wake up the Playstation. Bro, I love the portal. If you have good internet, set your Playstation settings geared towards the portable, plug the landline into your Playstation console, and it will work really well. But remember to change the connection to landline in the network settings of the ps5, because if you don't, it will stick with the wifi settings. Unplug the HDMI plug. Because without these settings, your portal will be trash.

How much did you pay for it? I see that scalpers are starting to lower their price BUT still I got it from my local Gamestop just telling them to contact me as soon as they got restocking. And I could trade a few games to lower the price.
I paid $281.45 on Ebay from scalper, not bad it's only money I'll make it back. I do recommend getting a travel case, glass screen protector and thumbpad the Nintendo joy con thumbpad works fits well. The only problem I noticed you can't update or download any games while using the Portal because it lags you out. Other than that I don't have any other issues with this atm but I only had it one week so far.......
Mine has been trash, probly gonna return it, it’s super laggy even with a wired connection to my ps5, also doesn’t even work with my 5G hotspot.. you gotta have crazy good internet for it to even be decent and my internet is good, I pay extra for gaming wifi and it’s still trash
Your wrong need to go into settings and put remote play also need leave it in sleep mode. I used mine 30 miles away from my house worked like I wasn't online. I also played COD3 zombies had no latency issues.

You don’t have to turn on your PS5 fully to use the Portal. You need to allow remote play to turn on your system in the settings.
Place your system on rest mode. I wouldn't play COD multi-player. However playing zombies on it is absolutely amazing.

I yea I leave mine in rest mode all the time… my main issues are lagging during my game play
they made a mistake with the Wifi 5 chip on this device, it should've been Wifi 6 or 6E.

overwatch works great on the portal and even the backbone. I stopped buying cod games 2 years ago

If you have a good Internet connection you can't go wrong. Using the portal is way better than a phone and a reason why it as sold out .
