    This is a great idea.but I need it to put my sister in my truck.her weight is 120#

    • @Marcsmobility
      @Marcsmobility  Před měsícem

      You would get your sister in the vehicle first, then take the chair and put it on the lift and lift the unit into the vehicle, collapse the lift and put the lift in the vehicle. You sister wouldn't be able to be in the chair and lift both her and the unit into the vehicle.

      So for future reference, on most of our videos including this one, we add a link to the product being reviewed in the description under the video for your convenience to be able to look at the specs, prices and such. This item is out of stock and we are no longer carrying it but we do have one from another manufacture that is comparable, that would be the GO-Lift Portable Scooter and Wheelchair Lift by ComfyGO. Here is the link to this one and it happens to be cheaper than the other lift you commented on. Hope this helps!

    Interesting, but shouldn't you have a person with mobility issues demonstrate this?

    • @Marcsmobility
      @Marcsmobility  Před 6 měsíci

      We don't have anyone who is disabled other than Adam and he is a paraplegic. It wouldn't be to easy for him to maneuver this very well. We demonstrate the use of the lift in this video to show someone who is mobility impaired how the unit works and what it involved to use it. Everyone's disability can be different so using someone who has 1 mobility issues may not be the same issues someone else watching this video has. Marc demonstrating the way this works gets the point across to those who are interested. If someone has questions or concerns that wasn't mentioned, they can always reach out to us and we can answer any questions they may have about any of our units.

      None of these videos show disabled people. Just strong men saying "simple." "easy." the test drives are all men speeding around a parking lot like the scooter is a toy, disrespectful to the disabled. It's our legs, not our toy.

    • @Marcsmobility
      @Marcsmobility  Před 18 dny

      Not sure where you are seeing disrespect to the disabled. I myself, (Adam) are paralyzed from the waist down and in a manual wheelchair and I don't see any kind of disrespect. I actually see able-bodied people giving information that is not on the internet or CZcams for people interested in a certain unit where they can get an idea of how the units work and perform. Our reviews of the units are just that, reviews giving the information and specifications in a short clip of how it performs in grass and on paved surfaces. Everybody's disability is different. You know your disability and how you would be able to use/work/operate a unit such as a scooter, chair or mobility lift and it wouldn't be the same as someone else who has a different disability. You would work this unit a lot different than I would.

    Now show me how this lifts a power chair. You know... Like it states in the title.

    • @Marcsmobility
      @Marcsmobility  Před 9 měsíci

      It would lift light weight powerchairs like the ComfyGo lightweight powerchair or the Jazzy Carbon Ultra, not the larger powerchairs like the Pride F3 or the Quantum Q6.

  • @AmethystWoman
    @AmethystWoman Před měsícem

    25 pounds for an ambulatory wheelchair user is not ''''only" its rule out. all these videos show non-disabled men.

    • @Marcsmobility
      @Marcsmobility  Před měsícem

      It depends on your disability. Every ones disability is different and people can do things differently. I myself (Adam) am paralyzed, cannot walk and in a wheelchair and I'm able to put a lightweight chair on this lift and get it into a vehicle. Now the reason you are seeing a non disabled person in these videos is to show how the unit works, not how the person using the unit works. You know your disability better than anyone and know what you can or cant do. If you are not able to use this lift then your not able to use it and we can look at something else for what you ARE able to do and get you set up. Give us a call to talk about what would work for you.

      @@Marcsmobility the device weighs 25 lbs. the chair is only 40. The only device I can find that is simple, is in the UK. meanwhile... everything here is $4,000 and way overkill if it's in the car or well, this weighs almost as much as a small wheelchair. It's just very frustrating as I am homebound with a $2000 wheelchair I can't get in and out of the car.

      If you have a freight forwarder we could ship to in the US, we can ship the Go-Lift to them and then you can have it shipped to you in the UK.
