be funny if they were fighting in the early morning then diavolo just skips time to right as the sun starts to shine in before dio can do anything so he just instantly melts
hm although I prefer the design and implementation of King Crimson here compared to the old one by Amarimono, I do think some of the abilities are not proper portrayals of Diavolo's power. The activation of King Crimson shouldn't really slow down time, per se, since that was really only a visual cue from the anime to signify Diavolo's precognition. The events of skipped time don't move any slower than regular time, it's just that Diavolo knows where they're going to go and what they're going to do during that time, and he is able to maneuver freely without taking damage. Not to mention, Diavolo shouldn't be able to attack others during skipped time, he has to exit it in order to attack.
I think that if they want to implement the anime visuals and the actual ability a little more accurately, they could try having a mechanism where if you're the opponent, during King Crimson'd time, the controller inputs move an off-orange -shaded frame of the character first (just like we see in the Sticky Fingers vs King Crimson scene) and there's a lag time before the actual character follows through on all of the actions made by the orange shade. Diavolo would be impervious to any attacks made by either the orange shade or the actual character, and can then position himself accordingly to attack the enemy character, but if he does, the Skipped Time automatically cancels itself and regular time resumes. The first attack he lands, though, would have a Critical Hit bonus. That's sorta how I'd like to imagine it, anyway. Admittedly I have no experience making Mugens, so I dunno how feasible any of that is, but it's just what I think would better reflect King Crimson's true ability.
Edit: also, Epitaph shouldn't always be a perfect evade. It should be for basic jabs and attacks, but for specials it should probably only be a partial one, since even in the show Doppio using only Epitaph still takes damage, it's just less than it would've been had he not known where the attack would land. It'd still be better than blocking, since it permits mobility and allows Diavolo to not be "staggered" or anything.

Since dio wins I am glad the ending is accurate
not necessarily, dio is simply just overrated, so much so that it blinds people from actually seeing from a logical standpoint what would happen. (not to mention diavolo is the most busted jus mugen character)

The outcome of this match-up isn’t set in stone. Dio seems more likely because of his vampire advantages, but it could go either way. It depends on how much they know about each other’s abilities and what strategies they use.
Here is my view of diavolo vs Dio. First off, diavolo wouldn't be able to see anything within The because it never happened in actual folds of time. (Talking about actually series, not Mugen) if diavolo erases time, he'll be quite confused because Dio might use ts in the reality that never existed and might teleport randomly somewhere. In reality, I think the world is the better stand. Just me though

depends who you ask. Personally, I believe that the time stop would be skipped (As DIO's actions would take place in one instant) and Diavolo would see all the actions DIO made at once, and be confused. So, when DIO tries to use his ability again, Diavolo would immediately use his time skip
