That's actually when Elon gained world fame, by taking advantage of this tragedy to get some cheap headlines - and he did it by proposing a literally impossible plan (his submarine was too big for this cave) and playing offended when it got rejected. For me, it just proved that the guy was a real sociapth.
Remember when he bought CPAP and BPAP machines slapped a Tesla logo them and donated them to a hospital early in the pandemic? Then when the hospital told him these are useless and are not the ventilators they need, he started attacking the hospital and claiming he would manufacture ventilators.
Honestly, with how many rich and powerful dudes get outed as active pedos with no remorse, I wouldn't be surprised if Musk was projecting.

Not to mention the plan wasnt even to solve world hunger, it was to feed ~42 million people for one year. Almost 10% of the world is affected by world hunger and feeding around 5% of them for a year isnt a solution. Although it still wouldve been nice if he did that obviously

Most of the ideas credited to him aren't his. Tesla founders were ousted by Musk, Hyperloop was an infeasible idea that hasn't evolved in the 100 years of its inception and was being promoted as the next mode of transport until projects had to be dropped, Boring company was supposedly going to bring 160mph autonomous driving but it turned out to be a 30mph manual crammed driveway with RGB lights.
He's the embodiment of Elizabeth Holmes. She had one ridiculously infeasible idea that she kept peddling to her investors, Elon's got multiple such impractical ideas. He just needs to keep the public perception. Elonfanboys are doing that for free.
This is until he sells his share of the stocks before the bubble finally bursts and his investors lose everything. In fact, Kimbal Musk cashed out $109 million of Tesla stock just before Elon's tweets, I'm sure he'll get away even though it's illegal for everyone else.

This podcast is really underrated. Promote it a little more in your main videos and you'll get way more views. Your random improvised comedy skits are hilarious. Most people would make 10 times worse skits if they wrote and practiced them for hours (SNL) while you guys just create them out of thin air by improvising. Way better than H3 Podcast.

This podcast is one of the top on the charts for comedy, and has been for years I wouldn’t really say it’s underrated

Public transportation is extremely important but I get what you’re saying. But there are better EVs than Tesla’s, from companies that are less egregiously unethical.

Literally every major city in the US would ideally phase out vehicle.presence entirely and shift more towards public transportation which can be done far more efficiently, safer, environmentally friendly, and *compact* than individual transportation. Literally the only value of sticking with individual cars is A) most Americans are extremely resistant to the idea of public transportation, because it's not a cultural norm here yet B) you can force individual consumers to absorb most of the cost, public infrastructure has to be done through the government which is increasingly hard to do C) a large chunk of the country doesn't live in an area with high enough population density

While the rest of the world is also on a similar boat (capitalism baby) not many other nations drive this mindset home like Americans do! More important than to suggest the idea of sustainable public transit, we should start by valuing community and efforts to uplift our lower working class. Of course that would mean deep cuts from wealthy individuals paychecks… including Elon’s ;)

Yeah I mean simply put we don't tax wealth like we should. That's why some of these CEOs have relatively modest salaries. They don't need to make any money through a paycheck and certainly prefer to keep it low to avoid income taxes. We don't really tax assets responsibly so billionaires just keep their wealth in assets and either liquidate it when needed or take out credit against it with no interest rate. The system is broken.

We do not get to vote in Reagan twice, have *three* bush administration, and elect the king of tax avoidance himself and then act surprised that the system has been rigged to exploit poor people. They pretty much said that's what they were going to do, and that's what they did. For American capitalists, the system is working great.
