I bought my Roland BK-9 to use in the recording studio to create cinematic soundtracks and it has been outstanding. I also use it for tracking parts for songs for artists and songwriting. Its absolutely brilliant and I highly recommend it. My only complaint is not being able to edit the sounds in each ACC Rhythm Parts section and replacing those sounds when needed. la aurait été sympa de découvrir les styles autres que ceux du BK7M même si ces derniers semblent remastérisés. le BK9 est annoncé avec 540 styles dont 25 nouveaux, qu'en est-il? est-il possible de piloter les OTS via un pédalier? sinon démo sympa avec Samuel Garcia qui est un bon musicien.
My Roland E86 sounds like this. Very interesting .... But I'm not saying I don't like it. I just it would sound more modern. However Roland is the best.
Could anyone tell me a simple way to use the 16 track recording method of recording? I know how to use a single instrument and record. But, to record something and then play it back and record something over top of that, I have NO idea how to do that. And, I looked it up in the manual. And, from what I can understand of that, you have to know the timing, etc., etc., etc,. of the song that you are playing and recording in order to record more than one track. And, I play strictly by ear. I don't know the time signatures or any of that stuff. I should know this. But, I don't. But, if someone could please tell me how to record one track and then add another and another track to it, that would be awesome. And, I sure would appreciate it. Thanks!!!
Je pense aussi que les demos du Yamaha S950 me plaisent mieux, au moins les styles et drums. Mais on ne peut pas comparer le BK-9 avec le GW8, par exemple les pianos SN sont beaucoup meilleurs que ceux du GW8 qui correspondent au SonicCell, le même pour les autres sons SN et aussi la quantité des sons (probablement pris des cartes SRX). - I also think that the S950 styles sound better, but you can't say the BK-9 is like the GW-8, e.g. regarding the supernatural sounds such as piano and others.

The player is really good, but I think the choice of sounds does not reflect the real capacities of the instrument, e.g. the saxophones: there are very good saxophones in the BK-7m, which are surely inside the BK-9 too. But sometimes the player selects an old sax I know from the 90s (XP-80)... Listen to the new sound demo on the Roland.com homepage - it's quite impressive
Belle demonstration mais la qualité sonore n'est pas a la hauteur. Ce clavier ne vaut pas un PSR S910 et encore moins un S950. Vendu 1990 euros, c'est un peu cher. J'avais un ROLAND GW8 on dirait le meme clavier.
pour corriger le tir yamaha psr s 950 un niveau au dessus il faux voir les eff yamaha guitare a tomber moi je dit yamaha au niveaux sonnord au dessus mais le roland bk9 bien aussi mais reste un peu en dessous moi je travail avec un pa 500 top voir les batterie du pa 500 top et jai un krome sa assure
+Tardus Ascensum A part of the BK-9 sounds are from Fantom X/ SonicCell/ Juno Stage, but by far not all. Besides the 22 SuperNatural sounds, there are many (e.g. saxophones) which are from the E80, implemented by Roland Europe and weren't part of Roland Japan's synthesizer line including Fantom X. Some also stem or are derived from SRX boards. Not enough new material, I admit, but definitely wrong to say they are all from Fantom X.

Amdost1373, si descargas el manual de Roland BK 9 en la parte correspondiente a ritmos o estilos musicales, verás que hay varios mexicanos, empero muy posiblemente no satisfágante porque ahí en México (como nosotros en España) tenéis infinidad de ritmos muy atractivos que no posee el Roland Bk 9, así como el PA 3 de Korg o el Tyros 4. En esos casos hay que descargárselos, ya que de fábrica no vienen.
I expected more of the BK-9!!! I tryed it this morning and I could compare this sh....t to a Yamaha S750. I know Korg PA 600 too and I can tell U that the PSR750 is very good. The korg is good too and compete very well with the Yamaha but the Roland is far-far behind. I tested the three KB on the same PA system passive 2x150W. Sorry but....

amigo, ele tem toda a biblioteca do G70 e muito mais. eu mesmo tinha um E-80 e testei lado a lado. todos os timbre que eu escolhia aleatoriamente no E80, buscava e tinha o mesmo no Bk9. o melhor ainda é que o Bk9 toca todos os Styles do E80, G70, EA7....mas o contrário não ocorre. enfim, o G70 foi um excelente teclado, mas veja que é um projeto de 2003, o BK9 é de 2013!!! não precisamos dizer mais nada. tá na hora de mudar.

Does it exists in 88 keys piano (weighted, hammer action) version ?? - if it is, is for me. If no - is for me too.....
