Thank you Jermey! This is what I was hoping for! Sounds like the TPMS4 in conjunction with my new Modis Edge would do just about anything I need to involving TPMS systems/sensors. Much appreciated.
Sounds like 3 is better since it can stand alone Work in shop with limited scanners and you know the daily drama of who has the scanner and for how long he is going to hv it Stand alone is king in my book
Thanks for the info...... I have one my dealer give me to check out. Do you know if there are any videos that go a little more in depth on using the tool? I'm currently searching for one. Thanks!
I haven't done a lot of TPMS work. Right now I just worry about it when I am rotating tires for a customer during a maintenance. My current process is to put the car into relearn via the procedure for it that I look up on Chilton and then I just go add or subtract one psi from the tire that the turn signal light if flashing at and it honks. Since it tells you how to put it the car in re-learn or it requires you to have a scan tool to do it the only thing this saves me from is having to look it up on Chiltons and having to have an air hose handy? I understand it does some programming stuff as well, but I don't dismount tires, I sub that out to a local tire repair shop.
Didn't get to catch your last video before you got on the techno truck... But Solis edge just updated to 17.4 I think like two weeks ago Could you give me a quick walk through on something ? 03 lincoln town car with the keypad on the drivers door can you show how to retrieve / change the access code thanks in advance
You will see it as soon as I see it, you will hear about it as soon as I do. Lol. For real though they are pretty tight lipped about any new things until they do release them, even to us dealers. Thank you for watching!!!!
i just bought this tpms4 module and the new zeus for work, i am confused now more than ever because they do not have the instruction book with them, i know i can download them but when i saw this video i was thinking that it would actually show how to use them. so i guess its reading time. i liked the enthusiasm in the video but it also seems you dont know much about this product too. so i think i will learn about this then put one out for you, lol
Bruce Carl figured the first car I tried to program an ex sensor on, the first day I got the tpms4, was a 14 Nissan Altima. And it was not supported for example sensor. Supported other programmable sensors but not the extra sensor for the new Altima. How often does snap o update the programmable updates? I'm hoping Schrader adds more support for example sensor soon, and snap on will update it to the tpms4.
The tpms 4 is ok just wish it was like the tpms 3 with was a stand alone only needing your scan tool only in trouble cases but I would love to see them make the 4 a stand alone to
There are a couple vehicle mfg that require a scanner to be hooked up to program sensors. The tpms3 has this ability, the Tpms4 does not have this diagnostic function as it is a different level and price point tool.
What’s he’s trying to say all Foreign cars you have to use your diagnostic scan tool to manually put in the sensor ids but for Chevy ford and dodge it’s awesome it’s just like the tpms3
What the he'll. I know the tpms4 is half the price of a tpms3. But seeing how the 1 and 2 are it should have more capabilities of the 3. Like you can plug it into the one and program. I.e. stand alone like the tpms3 is, all around it looks and seems to function faster than the tpms3 yet is less capable. Snap on needs to update the 3! And switch the numbering around.
By the way my shop has a tpms3. I like it a lot since ome of the updates we had a year agobwent three. I've used the VT55 which I also liked a lot and was simular. As well as I've been wanting to buy a toms tool. When the tpms3 looks like the 4 I'll buy one! Or if the 3 becomes stand alone I'll buy one!
I tested the tpms4 on the Snapon truck with a echin Napa Sensor aka qwik Sensor and programmed it for a Subaru. It works. And I instantly bought that tpms4. One happy costumer and many more to come!
It would be nice to not have to need a scanner to reprogram, and do relearn. It looks like a nice tool but because of that I don't think I will be buying it.
This is a tire pressure tool not a scan tool. The scan tool is needed because there is no uniformity between auto manufacturers on how to enter the relearn mode. For instance a chevrolet may have you pull the emergency brake and flash the lights on and off while cycling the key where another mfg will require a scan tool with bidirectional control to enter the relearn process. It kinda reminds me of obd1 where every mfg had their own diagnostic plug.
Now this comment is coming from a consumer not a mechanic that makes a living from repairs. I may be old school but the TPMS system is nothing more than a joke. Keep an eye on your tires and check pressure regularly. I get the shop owner/ mechanic benefits as well though.
People are LAZY! thats why. People don’t CARE! Thats why. people dont even know what they have other that it goes from A-B im a mechanic and some people should NOT own a vehicle.

Wow thats great tool👍🔧🔩 i really like how SO scan tools are easy to use. The Tech know truck is suppose to come by this Thursday.
Your a great salesman i wish this techno truck guy had the same enthusiasm as you
He’s really good just not used to having a camera in his face. Lol. Thank you for watching. Love it!!!
I have had my tpms4 for about 2 weeks now and it is an awesome tool and very easy to use
Thank you for sharing. Awesome.
Do you need a snap on scanner in order for it to reprogram sensors for bigger than OEM tires. Or reprogram any tpms?
Thanks for the info...... I have one my dealer give me to check out. Do you know if there are any videos that go a little more in depth on using the tool? I'm currently searching for one. Thanks!
Can you go through the key fob testing. I was told it would relearn them, but it doesn't look like it does.

Will the tpms4 work in conjunction with the ethos pro?
Is there a video with more in depth on how to use all functions of tpms4?
This guy was at my shop in Wisconsin just a couple weeks ago!
Didn't get to catch your

Finally something on tpms4.
will the tpms4 work with the Solus Edge
So how is the TPMS 4 suppose to communicate with my scan tool?
When is the 1/2 brushless impact coming out. Great video.
You will see it as soon as I see it, you will hear about it as soon as I do. Lol. For real though they are pretty tight lipped about any new things until they do release them, even to us dealers. Thank you for watching!!!!

Are you able to program Schrader EZ-Sensors with the newer TPMS4? I know you can on the TPMS3. Trying to get 100% confirmation.
Pete Putros yes you can

I bought the tpms4 today. my old employer had the 3 im hoping i love it as much as the 3
POS its like going back to dial up scanner is needed about 70 percent of the time
The tpms 4 is ok just wish it was like the tpms 3 with was a stand alone only needing your scan tool only in trouble cases but I would love to see them make the 4 a stand alone to
I think you may be on to something.
how much is cost ?
So...you can't programs sensor to cars unless you have another scanner?I'm confused...why can't i programme the sensors with the latest tpms tool

What in the world is the sd card slot for, I just bought the TPMS 4 and I don't understand what the card slot is for

Updates
And the TPMS 3.0 has a new companion the TPMS 5.0

Does TPMS4 work on NAPA QWIK SENSOR TPMS programming?
The Tpms4 does work with aftermarket sensors
I tested the tpms4 on the Snapon truck with a echin Napa Sensor aka qwik Sensor and programmed it for a Subaru. It works. And I instantly bought that tpms4. One happy costumer and many more to come!

My Snap on rep dropped mine off this week . It is terrible for reading the sensors in the wheels. Not remotely impressed for the price
Why do i need a scan tool for a scan tool ... seems real gimmicky

Whats that bad boy run
Retail of 854.10
@@Haasltools can it be independently used or with the scanner
Both. Some vehicles need a scanner to be put into relearn mode. Any bi-directional scanner will work. Other vehicles don’t require that step.
Had one for about 3 weeks JUNK
Perhaps operator error is the issue?

The Engine Room all because of the firestone scares of the early 2000’s.
