On l'attendait, l'attaque de Remco Evenepoel, sur la 20e et dernière étape en ligne du Tour de France. Depuis le col de Turini, ses coéquipiers de la Soudal Quick-Step ont pris les commandes du groupe maillot jaune pour préparer le terrain en vue de l'attaque du Belge, avide de reprendre du temps à Jonas Vingegaard, 2e du classement général. Evenepoel a joué son va-tout sur les pentes du juge de paix, le col de La Couillole. Mais le leader de la Visma | Lease a Bike était fort ce samedi, et sautait sans difficulté dans la roue du maillot blanc. Le Danois a ensuite contre-attaqué, et, cette-fois, l'ancien champion du monde ne pouvait plus tenir la cadence. Résultat, Remco Evenepoel perd 46 secondes sur Vingegaard, avant l'ultime journée de la Grande boucle.

Evenepol has improuved a lot. He doesnt collapse like in Spain last year. Strong performance.

Jonas is exceptional. He displayed true grit! What an act of courage and determination after surviving that tremendous accident. To me, he's the true champion of the tour regardless of rank and position.
I think all of them are champions. And the top three is just so impressive

@@danshort10 yes sir, a part of me want Primos and Jonas to be team mates, but i do understand the desire to try to beat the best. Its sad that jonas not gonna be a the La Vuelta. (Jonas has celebrated to much, and created a new baby)

Oddly for someone who has worked o it and seems to fancy his sprint, Remco seemed to lack a bit of punch when it came to stepping on the accelerator. Other than that his climbing has improved a lot and unlike the past, no bad days. Only positive takeaways for him from this Tour.
And that is why you don't always race with balls. Great response from Vingegaard on the bike.
JV likes hard tempo and long climbs and you have the balls to attack him 100% on his terrain. That says something ...
Pogačar raced with "BALLS" for 90% of the race and he will be 6+ minutes in front of Jonas tomorrow. Both Remco (balls) and Jonas (defensive riding) are wrong in what actually matters, "legs" is what makes a winner and a looser as Pogačar said 2 weeks ago.

This became predictable,remco & Pogi dont like wheelsucking jonas especially for wheelsucking last week,so Tadej did it to him today & tried to get remco into 2nd place by not working but fishboy seen what was goin down & in the end pogi turned on the after burners to rub it in,also Bobke called it phil is lost in the past some where in lalaland

@@willchekal1112 Well fishboy fanboy,dont know what race ur watching,pogi & remco giving fishboy a payback for not workin last week,obviously uve been fantasizing,it was clear what pogi was doin,he & remco have become friends after that incident & pogi purposely slowed down so remco wouldnt get dropped BUT fishboy seen what was happening & got SMOKED today,SMOKED,ur probably a TURD cavendish fanboy also
Wheel sucking is of course ok when Tadej does it. Then it's a smart move.
