Thank you so much for putting this video together. Helped me out no end. I would not have managed it without your help.
FWIW (and to try and help any others that are following along), I ended up put the wiring out through the original hole (that the other tail lights come out of). Also, I had the Hayman Reese bar which seems to be absolutely identical (but has a flat 7 pin connector). I also had a bumper tab bar (shown at 8:27) I needed to be cut with an angle grinder before I put back on behind the plastic bumper. Last thing I had to do was re-trim the bumper as the tow ball was not 100% centred - also super glued the black trimming on to make sure it was secure. Final advice I have is that; for me the 'keyless system maintenance' light came on for a few days after installation, but seemed to be OK a couple of days later.

Excellent video, and much more informative than the instructions supplied with the towbar.

Your video was extremely helpful, unlike the instructions that come with the tow bar.

Great insight on a towbar installation. Wouldn't mind having a go myself one day.

Well done. We were lucky got the later model sport and the bumper doesn't have to be cut. Also gives more room between ball and bumper, an added bonus.

Hey, great video. When you attached the two bumper tabs onto the bar did your tek screws fit? Ours seem too small for the holes in the bar?

Mate I have exactly the same problem, looks like it's factory fault, I'm going to drill and tap the hole and use size up bolt, M8 I suppose.

I had inspected about 5 Pajero Sport for purchase and they are 2018+ so reasonably new. Why every single one has some underbody rust. I checked a Toyota fortuner 2018 today and it was totally clean. I like the look of the Pajero sport but it is a real let down. Does your Pajero Sport have any under body rust?

Was this just plug and play. I presuming the vehicle didn't need to be put on a computer to active? Cheers

Read your manual in sensors section.. using the parking sensor off button you can press and hold for 3 seconds with in reverse. Changes from standard mode to towbar mode.
