Great truck. I would keep the bed. Utility beds are super useful. Also, the manual trans is perfect...great theft deterrent and less requests for "borrowing" your truck. DIESEL RULES! Diesel hybrids would destroy the EV market if politicians weren't so anti- diesel.

Yes, all factory 1 ton square body's and some C20 (all diesels, and some special order gas trucks) come with hydro boost. Whe swapped out the factory one with one out of a 90s truck. The hydro boost out of a 90s truck produces more braking force compared to the factory setup.
I would make this a camping rig for sure. Pack up the family and dogs. Anyone know if some type of rack can be built onto the bed to mount a rooftop tent?
