In my opinion, nobody on the recent seasons of drag race is Sasha's peer in terms of drag. The closest is Sapphira, but even though they have a similar skillset, Sasha has more polish to her drag and is a better performer.
Agreed. She won season 15 due to having the experience and star power to be America’s next drag superstar at the time. If she was on an earlier season I think she would still have a solid chance at winning too, but they would probably make her a runner up and make her win an all stars like Kylie Sonique Love, or win a season if possible. She was unbeatable on season 15, but all winners she’s definitely not unbeatable given she wasn’t so strong at comedy and had a questionable win for improv in my opinion. If she was up against Bob TDQ, Bianca (if she chooses to return), Alaska, Sasha Velour, or any of the international winners like Keiona or Danny Beard then I think it’s going to be a difficult race for her. She could potentially make the finale but getting a second crown is going to be questionable if she is up against a really stacked cast like that

To be fair, I think there was an unofficial 4th criterion working against Sapphira for the s16 finale which is that she was too similar to the previous winner. So I think if she had been cast on s15, there's a chance that her and Sasha are much more even. So the thing about Sapphira "not even winning her season" I don't think would be that valid if we're theorizing a scenario in which she competes a season earlier. However, what that does do is essentially solidify Nymphia's win from the get-go. I think most people knew Nymphia was gonna be a lock for the finale and was probably in the top 2 from the meet-the-queens, and Sapphira was like the only other queen people saw that early, other than Plane, but Plane definitely had to prove herself a bit by doing well in the season before people saw her as a contender against Nymphia and Sapphira. And let's say Sapphira and, say, Mistress swapped places, I think Mistress doesn't even make top 3, I think either her or Plane get booted at the book episode or Mistress goes in the makeover. And then I think we have an even stronger argument for a double crowning with a top 2 of S.C. squared in season 15.
if we are being honest… luxx could have won or earn another high placement from the crystal ball easily too as only her, mib, and sasha had complete runway packages. anetra was far from winning the ball no shade and should’ve received a safe placement regardless if her final runway look was stunning.

I can totally imagine Luxx & mib having a chance if they were just more likable. They played it like a reality tv show but they chose (or just became) the villain character, which production has never liked as winner.
I think if Anetra had done better or if Sasha had done less amazing in the finale then Anetra in this timeline could have won, not from track record but from a storyline that did emerge from their mid season lip sync. At that point, Sasha really recognized Anetra when her and the other queens commented on how well Anetra, despite losing, had kept up with Sasha, and from then on it felt like Anetra was this rising star who was captivating to watch fight to the top that could have challenged a drag legend like Sasha (think like a battle between generations of drag), in a way that Luxx and Mistress just couldn't with how the season narrative was framed, even tho Luxx and Mistress did incredible as well. What hampered Anetra's run IMO was the issues she had with her number (the dancer getting injured) which kinda ruined it a little for the ppl who were there and leaked it, and her Knock on Wood performance which was just kinda subpar, plus Sahsa at every point in the finale just did so incredible. So I think if a few small things could have gone differently, only with some slight changes not a major redistribution of wins, Anetra could have taken it just for how strong her storyline was going into the finale. Altho a Boss Bitch double shantae between the two would have been incredible and would have cemented them as having one of the greatest rivalries from a purely competitive standpoint
If they did all winners 2, she would have some competition! If it was all winners 2 with more international queens, she would very much struggle to take home the crown.
I think that honestly something that could be mentioned is that all the queens though that funnily enough, Sasha was in the bottom for 50/50. Therefore, if we want to unrig it somewhat to work against Sasha, that’s your best bet for a bottom 2 for the most part, most likely over Salina, who they said could have won that challenge.
To me,sasha colby could be beaten.but her season she already knew the formula and had her aesthetic and skill set pretty developed. So unless she goes there underprepared or with a bad psyche it s kinda hard to outperform her

Even if those wins were questionable, I think it’s a case of she wins the season no matter what because she annihilated the finale so bad it would be hard not to give her the crown.
As we saw in the challenge where they had to present (which was the episode with Anetra and Marcia in the bottom), she is not. I would say she is not necessarily a comedy queen and tbf, out of all the queens in the later episodes Sasha was just kind of "there". She had no storyline and little presence in the episodes.
Her and Anetra are unfortunately given little to no screen time because almost the entire later part of the season focuses on the Loosey vs Mistress and Luxx feud.
No, she's a great competitor, but half the challenges she won, she shouldn't. The edit and production forced on us that she's the only option to win season 15 where anetra, mistress, luxx and even Loosey was up there with her.
I think the only queen who can defeat Sasha is some comedy queen like Jinkx Monsoon or Bianca Del Rio. But even then they will have a hard time winning against her. I can also see Sasha Velour claiming a crown against her the way she did in season 9 with a lip sync surprise we’ve never seen before.

It also depends of the challenge package and distribution of the season, as all seasons, as similar as they are in regards of challenges, they have key differences. Sasha is mainly a performance queen, and even tho she has a great sense of style i don't think she's the best designer/seamstress of them all, so I can see her making it far but not winning a season like S16 or S3 which were very design-heavy. She's also charismatic but not precisely a comedian, so a comedy heavy season like S7 or S8 might not work a lot in her favor.

To be fair, I think there was an unofficial 4th criterion working against Sapphira for the s16 finale which is that she was too similar to the previous winner. So I think if she had been cast on s15, there's a chance that her and Sasha are much more even. So the thing about Sapphira "not even winning her season" I don't think would be that valid if we're theorizing a scenario in which she competes a season earlier. However, what that does do is essentially solidify Nymphia's win from the get-go. I think most people knew Nymphia was gonna be a lock for the finale and was probably in the top 2 from the meet-the-queens, and Sapphira was like the only other queen people saw that early, other than Plane, but Plane definitely had to prove herself a bit by doing well in the season before people saw her as a contender against Nymphia and Sapphira. And let's say Sapphira and, say, Mistress swapped places, I think Mistress doesn't even make top 3, I think either her or Plane get booted at the book episode or Mistress goes in the makeover. And then I think we have an even stronger argument for a double crowning with a top 2 of S.C. squared in season 15.

if we are being honest… luxx could have won or earn another high placement from the crystal ball easily too as only her, mib, and sasha had complete runway packages. anetra was far from winning the ball no shade and should’ve received a safe placement regardless if her final runway look was stunning.

Her low point was the comedy part but she kinda saved herself on that the best she could. Acting and performing.....well going against Sasha will be a fight for your life. Sasha showed she doesn't need to go full out to win a lip sync.

I can totally imagine Luxx & mib having a chance if they were just more likable. They played it like a reality tv show but they chose (or just became) the villain character, which production has never liked as winner.
I think if Anetra had done better or if Sasha had done less amazing in the finale then Anetra in this timeline could have won, not from track record but from a storyline that did emerge from their mid season lip sync. At that point, Sasha really recognized Anetra when her and the other queens commented on how well Anetra, despite losing, had kept up with Sasha, and from then on it felt like Anetra was this rising star who was captivating to watch fight to the top that could have challenged a drag legend like Sasha (think like a battle between generations of drag), in a way that Luxx and Mistress just couldn't with how the season narrative was framed, even tho Luxx and Mistress did incredible as well. What hampered Anetra's run IMO was the issues she had with her number (the dancer getting injured) which kinda ruined it a little for the ppl who were there and leaked it, and her Knock on Wood performance which was just kinda subpar, plus Sahsa at every point in the finale just did so incredible. So I think if a few small things could have gone differently, only with some slight changes not a major redistribution of wins, Anetra could have taken it just for how strong her storyline was going into the finale. Altho a Boss Bitch double shantae between the two would have been incredible and would have cemented them as having one of the greatest rivalries from a purely competitive standpoint

I think that honestly something that could be mentioned is that all the queens though that funnily enough, Sasha was in the bottom for 50/50. Therefore, if we want to unrig it somewhat to work against Sasha, that’s your best bet for a bottom 2 for the most part, most likely over Salina, who they said could have won that challenge.
To me,sasha colby could be beaten.but her season she already knew the formula and had her aesthetic and skill set pretty developed. So unless she goes there underprepared or with a bad psyche it s kinda hard to outperform her

That was the season for insane lip syncs. I could not think of a better runner up than Anetra. The rest couldn't even come close.

I think that Anetra sending home Sasha probably wouldn’t happen but getting a double save or even beating Marcia doesn’t definitely stop her from winning because getting an iconic lip sync is something that secured wins for queens like yvie, raja, Sasha velour, or even jinkx with her malambo 1 performance

Even if those wins were questionable, I think it’s a case of she wins the season no matter what because she annihilated the finale so bad it would be hard not to give her the crown.

As we saw in the challenge where they had to present (which was the episode with Anetra and Marcia in the bottom), she is not. I would say she is not necessarily a comedy queen and tbf, out of all the queens in the later episodes Sasha was just kind of "there". She had no storyline and little presence in the episodes.
Her and Anetra are unfortunately given little to no screen time because almost the entire later part of the season focuses on the Loosey vs Mistress and Luxx feud.

No, she's a great competitor, but half the challenges she won, she shouldn't. The edit and production forced on us that she's the only option to win season 15 where anetra, mistress, luxx and even Loosey was up there with her.
I think the only queen who can defeat Sasha is some comedy queen like Jinkx Monsoon or Bianca Del Rio. But even then they will have a hard time winning against her. I can also see Sasha Velour claiming a crown against her the way she did in season 9 with a lip sync surprise we’ve never seen before.

Yeah, as another comment here said, the true discourse is if she could still win in a season full of drag race powerhouses. It also depends of the challenge package and distribution of the season, as all seasons, as similar as they are in regards of challenges, they have key differences. Sasha is mainly a performance queen, and even tho she has a great sense of style i don't think she's the best designer/seamstress of them all, so I can see her making it far but not winning a season like S16 or S3 which were very design-heavy. She's also charismatic but not precisely a comedian, so a comedy heavy season like S7 or S8 might not work a lot in her favor.
