To be honest I’m never gonna get over their relationship, I’m never gonna get over the fact of how much he loved her and how every time she was in danger ,he was ready to give up his life instead of hers . I wish Red have told her the truth sooner so we wouldn’t have to see this sad ending in season 8 .
I believe Liz finally understood that she loves him too and that’s why she couldn’t pull the trigger in the last scene , but sadly for her it was to late .
